How does your Raven sit? I think mine is defective, unless I'm not doing something right. Instead of the right leg coming straight out like the left, it only goes off to the side like he's trying to do a split. Defective? His right leg should come out somewhat straight (but it does kind of move his left leg along with it). imgur.com/a/RGf8ofj

Wow, Black Strap Andre will be $30? He might be a pre-order out of me. Can anyone show Hasbro Andre next to ZST Blue Strap Andre? He has them in hand right now so they should ship the same week you order them! For some reason my phone is acting weird and won’t let me copy and paste the Imgur URL’s so here is my IG post that compares Andre figures (keep swiping as there are a few): http://instagram.com/p/CyPs9CQsYlK

The right leg on mine felt very stiff at first, but if you’re gentle with it and extend each leg in alternating small increments, you can get it to a seated position. I wouldn’t say the joint becomes less stiff, but you learn to work with it.

Very cool pics and an accurate review. It is a shame things have taken so long and that Josh isn’t a more reasonable person - those are the only things really holding him back. In the end, these figures delivered. Thanks. I plan on taking more pics of the figures now that I’ve opened them. The time it takes is irrelevant for me as long as I’m happy with the finished product. The day that the quality dips or an order doesn’t ship is when I’d be more inclined to speak up on those things. I’ve never had a bad encounter with Zombie/Josh. He was complimentary towards me and seemed really appreciative when I posted pics of the Sabu repaint a while back. I wish that everyone could have the same experience with him that I’ve had and could enjoy his line for what it is, but such is life. I do think that a steady stream of product in 2024 will endear him to more collectors.

I really like Sullivan and Bundy. I may still try to pick those up at some point.

I really like Sullivan and Bundy. I may still try to pick those up at some point. I love Bundy’s off-white wrist tape and boot laces/soles. It not being a pearly white color reminds me of sweat-stained gear and feels authentic to the era. Sullivan’s eyes can be a little wonky, and the tongue has some unusual shading, but other than that I really enjoy it. A sleeper hit, for sure.

I've only just noticed the wrist tape on Bundy, now that you mention it, and I agree it's a great little touch! These two just hit that late 80s sweet spot for me in terms of their looks, although I know there's some debate as to Bundy's era, that doesn't bother me. Sullivan really pops as well, love that look, and those dayglow pink Speedos 😂

Really need a Taskmaster Sullivan, don't know why this Florida version was done first, or how much of a market there was for that.

My theory is that these companies all want to double dip as often as possible. People will often buy the first version that is put out thinking there is a good chance that is the only figure of that person that will be made. Then they roll out the version everyone actually wants. Mattel is guilty of this, Super7 is guilty of this, and I’m pretty sure we are getting this from about every Retro figure maker to some extent. It’s both a good strategy and greedy.

Just patiently waiting for Bastion Bugger to start shipping. I passed on wave 2 entirely, but I did order Todd and plan to get the black strap Andre.

Now that the Quebecers are confirmed by grapplers and gimmicks it’ll be great if zombie is able to produce a Johnny Polo to go alongside them.

I know everyone wanted him in the same attire as the Hasbro Daveyboy, but I wanted him in his singles attire, any singles attire. Needless to say that I bought both. Not the best Dynamite figures but I'll take any. The new one from Epic is a much welcome addition.

I think if Epic were to do a repaint of the new Dynamite mold with the white pants, then it might piss off a lot of collectors, but I'd happily buy it!

More theoretically possible though, I would love a repaint of Jarrett, like in the colors of his Major Bendie/IYH July 95 attire.

More theoretically possible though, I would love a repaint of Jarrett, like in the colors of his Major Bendie/IYH July 95 attire. I think it is a case by case basis. Zombie is very strategic when it comes to his choices involving what may cause legal issues. That is why he hasn’t touched certain characters or looks in the past (according to him). So Dean Douglas is already unlikely…but given how much Shane Douglas hated that character/that run, I am guessing it would already be a no even if Zombie could get away with it. Chris Candido on the other hand might be able to get away with a Skip figure. I’m not an expert on Chris so I don’t know if he ever wore a blue singlet outside of WWF. If he didn’t, it might be harder to make a Candido with the Skip look without violating intellectual property law.
