Which is the most plausible theory? 1. OMG selling separately because it’s the only Series 3 figure that has arrived. 2. OMG selling separately because ZST needs money to get the other figures shipped from overseas. 3. All Series 3 figures have arrived at the ZST “warehouse” but he wants to make extra $ on s&h. 4. All Series 3 figures have arrived at the ZST “warehouse” but he wants to generate a buzz for the rest of Series 3. 5. All Series 3 figures have arrived at the ZST “warehouse” but he wants to see what action it gets before proceeding with the rest of Series 3. 6. All Series 3 figures have arrived at the ZST “warehouse” but his team would be overwhelmed by orders and unable to fulfill orders timely. 7. All Series 3 figures have arrived at the ZST “warehouse” but he wants to spread the releases over the year to avoid typical ZST lulls. 8. ZST’s contract with OMG needs to be paid out ASAP. 9. Unprecedented times/Covid global pandemic/climate change affecting supply chain 10. Other: (please describe) my guess is that it’s to flaunt the “in stock drop” and it being “unprecedented” which it’s really not but gives him a nice slogan for it I guess. Do not think it’s a cost thing but Gargano not being delivered yet doesn’t make a whole heap of sense when he’s got OMG ready to go agree with this, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Gargano contract is going to cause him some headaches if he doesn't release that soon
I personally doubt that Series 3 are "in the warehouse" as he's never mentioned it on social media, and the guy announces practically everything as though it's going to change the face of the business forever
I reckon it's probably - he planned OMG to be part of Series 2, realised it was a massive amount so pulled it back, and still pushed ahead with the production/delivery to get them in his hands, and now it's either 2 or 4 from the list - he either needs the cash injection for finishing and shipping the rest, or he's realised he has nothing coming for a while, so will use OMG as the reminder figure that "Hey, I'm over here and look what I've got" whilst the likes of Epic and FC are cranking out a few figures back to back like Demo/PoP/Bulldogs/Headbangers/Effy etc
OMG is a good looking figure, but I would be extremely surprised if he had other S3 figures "in stock" and on direct sale before June

Just purchased my One Man Gang. Sadly, I talked myself into purchasing one of each Andre figures (again) so that I could do a proper head swap with each. Why can’t I quit you?

if Hasttel did this you’d be smashing him for crap business practices and character slamming him. you're right, I would. why? because I've repeatedly said the same thing on here, and this is evidence that ZST is moving in the right direction - we need to end the preorder business model for these indy companies. why should customers take the financial risk and be let down as we have (repeatedly) by these companies?
ZST made these in advance, before taking any preorders, and had them shipped across with the Series 2 stock. Great move on his part, because it proves he's prepared to invest real money into his own business and have an inventory of "in stock" items ready for people to buy, rather than sharing crapty prototype images of figures that bear little to no resemblence to the performer, or will be manufactured on the cheap.
at least this way, I know that when I'm placing an order for OMG, I can already see what the figure looks like and I know that's the figure I'll receive and I won't be disappointed that the concept art looked better than the finished product.
ZST has done it right, and I commend him for it. though I stand by what I said - he hasn't got other figures dropping in the next 90 days, so he's spacing out his inventory whilst he can
so one figure in three series he has in hand - all the rest have been pre order and he’s doing it right?? He’s had about 10 preorder prepaid figures.

This is the closest I could find to Ahmed with white trim. I was almost sure I’d seen him wear something like it earlier in his WWF run, but now I don’t know. Maybe it was just the reflection of the lights or background on his gear.

Because figure 10 and 11 was Bulldog and Diana Hart Smith which has already been up for pre-order. If anyone could do in stock drops earlier than the rest it would be G+G because their payout and overheads are so low compared to others when it comes to artwork, mold making, royalties etc… and yet their costs per figure are same if not more in some variant cases

Plus Andre black strap, and Bastion Booger (which was on the way from China when he took orders so clearly paid for/made) I would wager production is happening on the rest of series 3 also, and would take orders when they are on the way from the factory.

You have no idea of his costs to produce or how much money he’s making - or the other companies for that matter.

I think the OMG thing is Zombie trying to answer his critics - and maybe taking some Talking points form the MWFP guys to heart. Tis way, he can pint and say "see sometimes I have stuff ready to go, no preorder waiting" and knowing him, bashing the competition for not. Frankly, while I think that's probably petty, I do think this is a much healthier business model for consumers overall.

RE: Gargano, I wonder if there's some contract snafu happening there. Obviously he signed with Zombie prior to returning to the WWE so conceivably it should be grandfathered and etc., but who knows? All I know is I'm peeved at not ordering one. It's the only Zombie/faux Retro I really wanted as I'm a Gargano completist, but I figured I'd wait until it was actually released. Of course, it's the on that he's not going to be able to randomly have more in stock of, and one that will probably have higher secondary market prices.

It’s all you can use when the owner is all smoke and mirrors with more burner social media accounts added weekly to try and put other companies down. I think we know that the variants didn’t cost anywhere near $150 to produce and it’s an insult to collectors

It’s clearly not an insult to some people. The variants sold out in a heartbeat, as did the loose figs. I’ll assume that if he listed another 50 mom variants they would sell out too. For every person that complains about the quality and price, there is a person who’s happy to with the quality and the price point.

They struggled to sell at NYCC and he’s still listing them on his website at inflated prices. Glad people are happy with them, they deserve it for forking out that much for a repaint. Just wish he (you) would drop the “for the fans, by the fans” slogan as it’s laughable at this stage

I wish the facial expression was different but that being said I bought 2. Still pretty damn good.
