Finally completed the set. I got everything from the Walmart site except for the Rock which I ended up buying on evilbay. Really did not expect that to be the one that got away. At least selling the extra Harlem Heat BAF pieces more than paid for it. 2 things I noticed, where is Stevie Rays glasses? Also are Stevie Rays boots all red and black, booker t laces are white in their black uniforms? I'll have to look at mine when I get home. found this stock photo that they don't have different laces. I got tired of trying to fish the specific glasses out of my bag of headwear accessories and gave up, lol. As far as the boots go, I'm not sure if any were produced with white laces, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised if there was a quick running change. These seem to have come out in two different waves of distribution, the latter having the WWE 2K24 stickers on the boxes. I also noticed that in a few online listings, the chase figures have the white nose strips on the face which are only supposed to be on the standard figure, and that none of the chase figures have the 2K sticker.

Haha! Goodluck finding them. eBay exclusives! Where I will have to go for RVD and chase Harlem Heat. MNWE3 did not hit my area. I had to have help from my Oregon dude to get the others.

For the part time collector who just wants the rock no, but for a long time collector or fan of the nwo with limited funds who cant afford to pay double the price on ebay, yes it is a big deal when you multiply the cost and moreover when that problem persists for numerous years and happens with other lines you collect and WHEN THE CULPRIT IS CONSTANTLY WALMART, than YES IT IS A BIG DEAL. This all affects the image of mattel in the end when we start to notice. Things can only be swept under the rug for so long. And ofcourse walmart chooses to pay mattel. They just dont want to stock these in stores where scalpers resell them and make double, they instead want to make that extra double profit money for themselves. What bettrr way to do that than to create demand by keeping pegs empty and by selling product anonymously online through partners that get product directly from mattel (so they dont have to fill their overflowing warehouses). Who is to say it ever landed in warehouses when walmart could get a kickback for every exclusive a walmart partner sells. Toysrus used to do this as well with their exclusives. You have to look at the big picture. and yes it is also a big deal when an exclusive line shows up 3 months before it is released at retail from supposed 3rd party neutral dealers who just happen to have a mattel license to sell monday night wars and walmart is supposedly ok with that. Not in any world would a business let another company sell their exclusives unless all parties were aware of the situation. Mattel knows monday night wars is not an exclusive and so does walmart. Just wait s2,3 will magicly show up one day in high quantities on ebay from walmart and mattel partners. So no haha i wont get these on the secondary market. Again. Mattel is in this to make money. Wal Mart pays them to make figures If Wal Mart chooses to buy 10,000 cases of Series 3 MNW, and by the time they roll out, decides we don’t want to bother with them, let’s get rid of 5,000 cases to various power sellers or discount outlets That’s their choice Wal Mart holds the cards, not Mattel Are you purposely ignoring facts? 1. These mnw figures, like superstars are supposed to be, WALMART EXCLUSIVES. We both know it is a lie. Mattel knows it is not true either. Paul knows it. So does sultan. Etc. Whether these "power sellers" are getting them direct from mattel or walmart is not stocking new cases when they first receive them and letting their partners create an artificial demand selling their exclusives 3 months in advance (obviously happening for numerous years), there is an attempt to gouge the collector AT THE MASS RETAIL LEVEL, something we usually only see on the secondary market. That is like target ending their preorders, with shelves empty, and stock only available from ebay sellers. BUT NO, TARGET ACTS LIKE A RETAILER AND IS NOT RESELLING TO POWERSELLERS OR GIVING THEIR EXCLUSIVES AWAY. Target wants to make money too no? Except they do it honestly, With transparency, AND RELEASE PRODUCT ON THE ACTUAL STREET DATE (not randonly when they want, one case at a time, TO CREATE DEMAND). No they put out cases everytime they receive them and clearance out the figures when people have had their fill. All parties are aware of the situation. Mattel and walmart wanting to make money is an obvious dumb retort that has nothing to do with the facts above. The problem however (and again unless you know the history of toy collecting and how things used to function) is that now retailers like walmart are acting like secondary market resellers with official preorder links rerouting to their "walmart partners (power sellers). This is fact. They have done this with the kurt angle superstars figure). I used to be a webmaster and those rerouted links dont exist out of thin air or they go to a bad gateway page when the preorder page gets deleted. This is intentional. There are so many variables at play that are starting to be known that to ignore what is happening is bizarre. Maybe you are trying to defend their practices usong the old conspiracy theory moniker as a way to deflect from facts as we saw during the pandemic but people are not blind and they know who these power sellers are and how they are selling new unreleased at walmart figures, and they are seeing walmart SKIP ENTIRE SERIES (mnw3, superstars6, ) AND BEING "EXCLUSIVELY SOLD BY SULTAN. Open your eyes and loOk at the selling history of these power sellers and you see the truth. inb4 but walmart and mattel want to make money. YES BUT WALMART IS NOT ACTING LIKE A RETAILER. THEY ARE ACTING LIKE AN AUCTIONEER, GETTING THE HIGHEST BIDDERS to do their bidding. You can deny it all you want but i already did the research and posted it in the superstars thread. By the way the whining retort is classy. I do not need walmart and their "partners" to get these figures. There is mercari, swapmeets, toy shows, and true collectors who downsize selling lots cheap. This is about changing the landscape of collecting, bringing it back to its roots before these power sellers took tgis hobby over stealing our pasttime which for decades laid untouched on the secondary market. Now it has become a free-for-all andprices are shooting up artificially DUE TO THESE PRACTICES BY WALMART WHO IS CREATING ARTIFICIAL DEMAND. you cant deny that shelves being empty and power sellers having all the stock is normal WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE PRIMARY EXCLUSIVES TO: WAIT FOR IT... ....WALMART NOT SULTAN NOT PAUL NOT ANY OF THESE WALMART PARTNERS So no there is no transparency. We are being played with. But people here are not stupid. Long time collectors know these games (usually played out in secret with hush hush transactions at the backdoor or with employees receiving kickbacks giving cases of hot wheels to . If you deny that has been going on for the past 30 years AND that it is normal at almost every store than i cant take you serious. WALMART needs to be exposed. THEY ARE NOT WALMART EXCLUSIVES image sharingOh would you look at that. Shocking i tell ya

I hear what your saying and I'm not disagreeing with you, I totally agree. The question is how do we get in on this purchasing newer figures. Who do we have to talk to to get in on this?

... Couldn't retailers just exponentially raise the price on these things like they do with everything else and cut out the subterfuge and involvement of third parties?
Wait a second. Last week, my Walmart store was completely out of their off-brand pizza sauce. Does that mean they reached out to random some boobtuber to take the sauce off their hands, so they can raise the price of their $1.50 Great Value jar that I found a cheaper, comparable, and relatively better quality replacement for at another grocery franchise?

Well, I never pay secondary prices, but I just paid like $44 each for MNW series 4 figures, I’ll never spend my time going to 50 Walmarts a week trying to find these things again. I’ll gladly spend the extra $90 for the set before I spend no telling how much on gas looking for them.

I have to say they have been decently stocked in the UK at Smyths. It looks a bit worrying sometimes with their online stock checker (which is not always accurate) and you do have to be relatively quick to pre-order or order online if you don't want to go in store, but i generally cant complain and have all the MNW elites that I want at RRP. The only issue on this side of the pond is we don't have any access to the UEs.

THEY ARE NOT WALMART EXCLUSIVES image sharingOh would you look at that. Shocking i tell ya That's a lot to unpack. And I truly don't think it's as ominous and calculated as you are alleging. I really don't think they are willing to put the time & effort into the type of conspiracy that you're outlining. All with the end-goal to rip-off their customers. The problem comes more from laziness, Walmart isn't willing to do the work to ensure these figures get distributed properly - in fact, they aren't even willing to do the work to monitor how they're being distributed. They simply don't care. They don't have time. They aren't using any active inventory system - they're just sending identical pallets of toys to each store. I've witnessed this, I've seen identical pallets at 3 different stores before they were unloaded. You can't tell me that they're using an "inventory" ordering system when every store is getting the same pallets of toys. When these blindly sent pallets arrive at stores, they either feel they don't need this stuff (shelves are full) or are too bothered to check, and they find different (various) ways to unload them. I know for a fact that they regularly donate new toys from pallets (before they go out on shelves) to area charities... because they don't have the staff or the time to deal with all of it and it's something they can easily jettison. If they donate the stuff to charities, they can then use it as a tax write-off. Which essentially means they've gotten their initial money back (even though they didn't profit from it, they also didn't take a loss). On a higher level, if the distribution centers have any sort of logjam, and believe they have more stock than they will be able to move - they start selling pallets off to discount stores like Ollies and Bargain Hunt. That way, they get some of the money back that they spent on the toys, or at least take less-damage by getting rid of it. I believe these "power sellers" circumventing the system, by being creative, getting a business license, and offering to buy in-volume directly from Mattel (possibly using international shipping addresses). Remember - The "exclusives" aren't exclusive outside of the U.S.... so if I'm a business operator outside the U.S. and offer to buy enough volume..... Mattel can do business with them..... and that's how they get this stuff early (because it doesn't have to go through Walmart's nightmarish distribution "system"). On the Flip Side - Target - accurate, trackable Inventory - separate SKU's for each figure - adherence to street/release dates - actively clearances figures after a set period. Target is following a set system. Walmart has no system. I really think it's that simple.

Not only does Walmart delay (aka cancel) my mnw rock…I bought my son Logan Paul and jey uso from Walmarts site for his birthday (supposedly shipped and sold from Walmart).
They canceled the Logan Paul 3 days after the purchase.
Jey Uso arrived today, opened the box and I see an elite series old man undertaker. WALMART SUCKS

All the previous MNW sets have had a second shipment.
Series 1 came on shippers, then was on pegs
Series 2 was on pegs, then came on shippers
Series 3 has hit some of the shippers, but not all. I'm assuming that there will be another wave of S3 hitting pegs/regular store distribution

And on a shipper for series 2 at the third Walmart.
