Monday Night Wars

One of my local Walmarts had a planogram sheet for a reset beginning week of 8/19, which coincides with the date listed when these first went up for pre-order. For those that have missed S3 and/or UEs I am thinking that they will pop up in this reset. 
I am aware that many like to/will cry and moan that they've never seen them at all to begin with, so got nothing for ya.
On the other hand, I am just posting because all of my locals have gotten in each series so far so I am pretty sure that they'll start popping up out my way this next week (DFW, TX area). I have never seen S3 outside of a lone Rock, so some/many of you may be in the same boat.

My reset was happening last week. Whole figure aisle was being stripped.

And the only MNW figure I saw that the store had was on an endcap with the rest of the E107 backlog from the shipper.

Finally got the first 3 sets, thanks to WM got pretty much them all there between PA, and MD, then these guys on the bay start releasing the next set. I like this series but so hard to obtain ugh!

So it begins….just got a text and email from Walmart saying my MNW Booker T Pre Order was Cancelled due “Inventory Issues”.

Can’t stress enough how much I HATE Walmart and as many have mentioned to Steve already, I would love for Mattel to move away from Walmart for lines like this.

It shouldn’t be this much of a struggle to find these figures. Think in my area, besides the Mania and SummerSlam shippers, Series 1 may have only been restocked on the Pegs once. And I had to travel to about a dozen different stores to find the SS shipper to get Series 2.

Hope Steve can help in someway or shed more light on these issues, which seem to have supposedly been resolved for this line.

I think I saw the scraps of series one, and got series 2 in the SummerSlam shipper but there haven't been any signs of series 3. Neither of the first two series have been restocked. It's amazing how much better target is about legends than Walmart is with their exclusives

This. All of this. I'm not talking about chases or limited releases which should be harder to find. Regular mainline items, even store exclusives, should be available to purchase in the store and/or online for delivery. It took Target a while but they figured it out.

I received my booker and stevie after the initial delay and was even able to purchase a 2nd stevie from the website which surprisingly was a chase but now hearing some people are getting their orders canceled is very disappointing. I was hoping things were straightened out but now I'm worried for the series 5 preorders. I wish mattel could get this line and superstars away from Walmart. Give them an exclusive line of current wrestlers. It's obvious Walmart doesn't care about the lack of sales in their exclusive lines so make these lines available on creations or ringside and leave the legends with target

Hit 4 Walmarts over the weekend, every Monday night war peg was empty. Empty for months.

Here's the thing -- the Disciple looks iNCREDIBLE.  I truly believe if this whole line was at least half figures like that, it would sell amazing and people would be happy. I get that Rock and RVD are considered "anchors" but not when *so* many have been produced over the years, in my opinion.

I call bs on the “anchor” matter. Majority if not everytime when an “anchor” is put in a line with a FTITL legend or figures you don’t get 25xs a year, the “anchor” is always peg warming with about 15 each store and these “deep cuts” are always the ones nobody can find.

The Disciple IMHO is Mattel's best BAF for the WWE range. incredible figure I haven't had enough time messing around with at all.

I badly want that Disciple figure, but I'll get it stand alone one day I really don't need the others.

The MNW line never really excited me, I figured who can they give us here that they wouldn't already release in the main lines?

2 things I noticed,  where is Stevie Rays glasses? Also are Stevie Rays boots all red and black, booker t laces are white in their black uniforms? I'll have to look at mine when I get home. found this stock photo that  they don't have different laces.

When I was opening my black/red Booker T & Stevie Ray, I was thinking that it might be difficult to tell them apart once they were out of the box & had their sunglasses on....

But then I noticed that they do have different colored boot-laces. So I do think this was done intentionally because the figures are very similar as a way to distinguish them.
