I have also kept most of my boxes and recently got back into collecting - I am so thankful that I still have all the early Elite boxes in really good condition. Will put the figures now back into them and display newer ones. Also really think they need to be opened. Not sure If i would keep the current boxes though

I think I might end up keeping them, flattening them, then keeping them stored away.

Otherwise I really don’t see the point, other than OCD levels of collecting. I get it, as I’ve been the same way up until recently. There’s zero value in those boxes, bro. It’s the figures that we collect, right? Just my opinion on the matter, and it’s our forum after all, so gotta reply to a fellow Wfigs brother.

I save some boxes but usually if I open a figure I dispose of the packaging

Trash. I only save boxes for statues, Hot Toys, etc that I could sell down the road.

Part of it is definitely some OCD, and part of it would be to repackage or sell down the road yeah. I know they wouldn't be considered MOC anymore but for figures that are particularly old I feel like throwing away their packaging is a crime cause I/we will never see it again. It's like a time capsule of sorts.
