His instagram feed is quite entertaining. He was promoting his monster line kickstarter very hard for several weeks then that seemingly disappeared. Then he resurrected his wrestling line. Now he’s showing off a render of a mini fig, very micro brawler-esque.

I got a Jonah and a Roadblock fairly cheap via Rock and Roll and I must say, Jonah is an ok figure. The head seems a bit big, but otherwise he looks good. Roadblock looks fairly basic, though.

Unreal Sal responded that he has been replying to them and that he literally just texted him. The video was removed from I am seeing. He comes across as annoyed by all this but says he does it because he loves it. Both can be possible but I perceive this to be a hobby which isn’t really fair to people who funded this endeavor. Other important notes: he said he has French Angel in hand but he is personally testing each figure and setting aside the best ones to send out which means he will also be assembling them (onto a card) as well. The only explanation for CVV being delayed is that he needed to find a new factory which was hard. Had to hire a QC person to deal with the factories in person. He said all factories outsource the metal mold for the figures and the CVV figure’s mold had a crack in it. I believe he said that would take months to fix. Sal momentarily accepted responsibility for poor communication on his part but claims that he has to wait to hear certain things from people before making any announcements or statements. What bothers me about that is that he spends a lot of time and effort trying to promote other things (Monster line, Pooh, RM Series 2, etc). Set aside some of that time for communicating with existing customers. |

As someone still waiting on a French Angel, I'd believe him if he at least took a picture of the figures to validate his claim. As things stand, I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him.

and yet he can't share a video or photo to show us of the "quality" of his own product - what kind of salesman doesn't want to show you the product they're selling?? (well, if it exists in the first place that is...)

It’s wild that a certain toy company can’t be talked about on this forum and has a dedicated pinned/locked thread explicitly stating that, and yet Rush gets 30 pages when most of us knew well enough to not trust him from the start.
I feel for all of you that got ripped off and have been waiting months for stuff that’s never going to come. I’ve been there in the past when Mega-lop-olis seemed too good to be true.

And since they can’t be discussed, I never would have learned that. I was once told by someone from RSC that they had some sort of a business deal or agreement some time ago and it went very badly. They didn’t elaborate in any way so it’s a little more than just being a competitor. That said, WFigs/RSC also doesn’t allow people to discuss a few other major online competitors. |
