Anyone else worried PT is going stray from their initial goal? I was excited for them to work on this list of vintage wrestlers. With them the worry is always there, but they did say that series 2 of their Ultras would follow the TNA that was set to follow their Remco All-stars. So now we play the waiting game. I want that JYD from series 2 pretty badly.

At this point I think I'm done with PowerTown. I really liked the first batch of figures, but they're just too out of scale with Jazwares/Mattel to be passable. If they would have shrunk them down 20% they'd be perfect.

How long was the pre order window for the remcos? 3-4 weeks? I guess it’ll be that long for these TNA figures. I don’t think we will get any renders of the ultras series 2 during this time. So we are at least a month-ish away for ultras news? Just a guess.

$49.99 each $189.99 Full Bundle I just can’t rationalize buying these at that price given it is current roster from a smaller promotion and the articulation is not as good as $22 elites or AEW figures. I know it is an issue of a smaller company with smaller volume, but I just can’t pay that much personally for these and be ok with it.

But I'm still cool with saving money.. do we have a promo code this time?

Price is tough on these. I’m definitely getting Moose. In theory I’d like Grace, and to get Edwards to complete the System. But probably not for $150.
Hopefully the Machine Guns are planned as a 2-pack. If we get them out of this I’m happy.
I guess I’d get Ziggler, Dreamer, Rhino, Gail Kim, Kushida, Abyss since they own the character, PCO. But any of the people I’d be in on to fill a shelf out with at $20-30 each, so ABC, Rascalz, Bailey, Hendry, Hammerstone, I’m out on at $50. Which kind of sucks.

Mattel & jazzwares are meant for collectors as well as kids to play with. Powertown is strictly collectors to be posed and placed on a shelf. So $50 isn’t terrible for a top quality collectible but my issue is; i don’t care about tna enough to spend $50 on a current tna star. Curious how well this preorder does. Maybe there are more tna fans & diehards out there then I realize.

I can’t wait to see the packaging. I wonder if they’ll pay tribute to the past TNA lines

That Moose figure is glorious, if it’s as detailed as that render it’s figure of the year for sure.

They ship to every country in the world, but no the uk?
This surely is an error!

Anyone else worried PT is going stray from their initial goal? I was excited for them to work on this list of vintage wrestlers. I was, and I hope it all works out for them, but on the other hand it may hurt them in the long run. We now have the TNA preorders, and the price is $5 more per figure than the first wave of Ultras. The excitement seems less for these figures too, so my fear is that they do not sell enough, and that hurts their overall business, and potentially kills the company. I personally think they should have stuck with one thing for a few years before expanding. Get 4 or 5 waves of the classic wrestler Ultras out, hopefully to the same good graces the first wave had, and then as a proven company expand into other areas - Remcos and such. I get that the TNA license kind of fell into their lap, but I really hope it doesn't take away their attention to the classic wrestlers that we had been told about for a while as they were setting up the company.

I get why Brian Myers did what he did to help his friends/the company he works for but Powertown definitely hurt themselves and likely some of their fans/collectors by pushing TNA ahead. It was PT’s decision at the end of the day but I can only speculate how much influencing it took to make this happen the way that it did.

I'm not the boss, but if you're not going to buy these and don't care then why come here? Just to complain? I don't get it

Personally, I want to see PowerTown succeed. I think strategically, TNA should have been next in line. There are certain legends and former TNA stars that I would be interested in down the line so it’s not as if I will not be a customer; I just won’t be buying their four offerings at this time. Weighing in on that is part of the discussion. Social media is full of echo chamber sycophants which is one of the reasons these forums can be great. Are they full of complaining? Absolutely. But it isn’t full of yes-men who will gush over everything a company puts out.

I can't speak for anyone else - but I bought their first wave of Ultras (the legends talent) but am concerned with this price hike, especially since it is current talent from a smaller promotion.
