Forgive me for asking here I'm trying to find out the best place to get protectors for bendies/bendems. Sorry if it has been posted else where on these threads. And thanks for being my first post.

Just seen the Johnny Gargano on Twitter. Now that's a cool looking figure! It's blowing me away this line, I won't be getting any as Bend 'Ems aren't something I collect but damn these are some good looking figures!

I appreciate the effort, but don’t like the bodies on these. The chest and arms are way too big. Bendems were obviously exaggerated, but not to this extent.

I’d say they’re pretty much in line until the bendies turned into thin pieces of rubber more reminiscent of cheese strings than a toy The major (pun intended) change in the original bendies form factor was a strange decision |

Curious if anyone can answer this: is the shine/material similar looking in person to the originals? I’ve seen pictures where it looks really close and other pictures where it looks too far off. And as far as the material goes…are they stiff but flexible like the originals or something different (harder, softer, more brittle, etc)?

If you compare them side by side, you'll see that the chest and arms are much thicker (in proportion to the rest of the body) on these. Judging by pretty much every photo/video I've seen that directly compares the two, the Major Bendies chests/arms/thickness/etc. is in line with the larger first two just toys Bend Ems. Maybe slightly bigger, but not too noticeable IMO. Now I would agree they would stick out next to any of the Bend Ems from Series 3 and onwards (and look like a different species than the final couple of Bend Ems). There’s a lot of “their” attitude being said. For me I still really enjoy listening to Bryan. A pod or so ago he called Matt out as being ‘carnie’ I'm sure in a joking way about something - maybe matt saying he’d help promote a product if he got a cut. I think Bryan’s just a down to Earth family guy who appreciates what he has in life snd doesn’t take it all too serious Mark is sometimes cool but has turned into matt lite on occasion I get the impression that Mark doesn't really know crap about toys but feigns interest because it's part of the gig. I like the guy, I just think he tries hard to keep up with the other two. EDIT: didn’t mean to bump a post from October, thought it was new lol. Oh well, point stands. |
