I'm really soured over AFA rubbing in the face of collectors not getting SGt Slaughter. His Instagram post really was insulting in a personal level. I wanted the figure badly and was on line exactly when it went up for preorder and had to wait on line for six minutes until it said it was sold out. WTF? Mattel needs to make it right and make more for those who missed out. If it’s the post I read, I don’t see how he was rubbing it in the face of collectors who didn’t get him? When afa said he was disappointed with people, some people interpreted it as him talking down to them like a parent does to a child. |

He said he was disappointed along with the people who didn’t get one. That was misconstrued by people as him talking down to them? Wtf lol |

People really bent that out of shape based off misinterpreting Steve’s post? Oof. I know, right? Especially as it should have been obvious to anyone that Steve was saying he's also disappointed people couldn't get one (ie. disappointed with you - not in you). It's not rocket science, people... 🤦♂️ Plus, I’ll speak from experience. I’ve only talked to Bill here and it was short and to the point. I’ve had a bunch of interactions with Steve online and he’s always been awesome. He’s a collector like the rest of us in a dream job. He’s never been anything but cool with me. |
