RSC calling the factory.... Hey you messed up the packaging on these ..... No no no... listen .... just call it a variant and they will buy it .... and charge $5 more because these fools will pay it .... RSC replies .... your brilliant thanks .. This is a packaging error and nothing more. I guess this takes us back to the old debate if a figures head is turned to the right and you find another one is turned to the left does that make it a variant ? đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł. Yeah this is kind of ridiculous. This isnât a variant, the packaging isnât actually different. Just swapped the two in an order that doesnât even make sense. Charging $5 extra for an error is disingenuous. Does this mean that any toy with a running change in how itâs displayed in the bubble is a variant? That would be ridiculous. Honestly the âvariantâ should be $5 cheaper, because itâs a mistake. |

Incredible set and the effort put into the packaging alone is awesome. Really wish they found a way to work Marko into this but I understand also why he is not. The variant has no appeal to me whatsoever, when I think of that entrance, I think of Jack on the shoulders. I look forward to seeing this in person.

  This is not a variant, nor did RS, WalMart, Amazon, Target etc. claim it was and attach a different price to the running change in the bubble. Why? Because the thing youâre buying is the exact same from the exterior packaging to the figure inside. Amazing the hoops we jump through to defend large corps. just trying to gauge you of your money. Jazwares has been exploiting the secondary market since the lines inception, this is no different. |

Jakks released an Ultimate Warrior facing forward and backwards and everyone called that a variant. Now saying that, this set I do believe is an actual factory employee mishap that they happened to catch and just decided to sell to us, so I wouldnât call this a variant per se. |

Very loose interpretation of the word different. I wouldnât mind if they sold the two at the same price, thatâs whatever. Pretending itâs a variant so you can charge an extra $5 is obvious exploitation.

The packaging is a variant. Look at the bubble holding the figures. The bubble is clearly molded to hold the figures differently. If you don't want to buy it, don't. Ringside and Jazzwares aren't scamming anyone or exploiting anyone. You are not forced to buy it. Complain with your wallet! I think a lot of the frustration with this exclusive is that people had expectations that didn't come to fruition. The one individual on here swore it was a "swerve". Way too much overthinking here at times. This is a cool looking set in my opinion. As I've posted here before, I'm not an AEW fan but I got both of these sets.

Never thought there would be this much hullabaloo over a packaging variation. It's really quite simple. If it looks cool enough to spend the extra money on, buy it. If it doesn't, don't. They're not "getting away" with anything. If people don't want it, it won't sell, and they'll know not to try it again.
