It takes me a few viewings to form any real opinion on a show. So I'll get to ya in 2023

I think 31 is overrated as hell. 37 was imo the best front to back Mania since 22.

I don’t think it’s top 5, but it holds a special place due to the current world circumstances.

Watching it back my only complaints are Hogan, Bayley not having a match, and the night one women’s tag. All pretty minor. Almost every other match was good to great. Some surprising results. Good use of celebrities (Not including the singing of America The Beautiful because I don’t watch that part anyways). Some big moments. Didn’t rely on stars of the past. Put over the future. Plus a hot crowd that mostly didn’t try and get itself over. Two nights also helped it fly by. Put Bayley with Carmella in the tag and have them win and only have Titus host and it would be pretty close to flawless for me. Whether you love him or hate him, Hogan is still more over in 2021 than nearly the entire WWE roster. That says a lot. ‘I mean it was Florida...

Night 1 was garbage. Night 2 was ok, but not something I would go out of my way to rewatch.
In terms of all-time rankings, it’s towards the bottom and doesn’t deserve to be near the top of the list. As said numerous times throughout this thread, it was the first WrestleMania I genuinely had no interest in watching or making plans to watch it with my friends. The matches, the build-up, the theme - all very lacklustre.
I hope things are different next year but I doubt it. Again as mentioned here, 31 through 37 are all kind of blurred together.

I think it will probably end up in the middle. It’s not there with the all timers but in no way is close to 11, 9, 27, 25, 28 in terms of the event being overly bad. In what world is 25 overly bad? WM 25 has a solid MITB, a fun match with Matt and Jeff, and one of the best WM matches of all time between Taker and Shawn. Those alone save it from being “overly bad.”

It wasn’t that great but it wasn’t that bad. I took it for what it is. As I grew up and grew I look at wrestling different. It wasn’t the worst but I’ve def seen better.

Night one may be top 5-7, night two is top 12. It was technically two different events and I will refer to it as such.

Hard to say, but I doubt anything will ever top X7. This might have been my favorite since 32. 14, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 are all just as good as X-7. Everybody come fight me in the replies.

Great ladder match, great Orton match, there was no third match IT DIDN'T HAPPEN I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT. The Cena vs Rusev match was damn good. Main event was a great match with or without the cash in, love a good Brock match.

Those alone save it from being “overly bad.” That Matt and Jeff match was not good....only HBK and Taker was good on that show. Legends vs Jericho sucked, women’s battle Royal sucked, Orton vs Triple H sucked after a great build. MITB was alright, honestly the 2nd weakest one of the mania era.

Definitely one of my least favorite WrestleManias ever. Not that I actually know what one would take that honor outright.

Matt and Jeff just sadly had no chemistry as opponents. Overall how hyped that show was, it was such a let down. Show being shoehorned into the logical Cena vs Edge, Triple H and Orton having a straight wrestling match after that build, Punk winning the MITB again despite Christian being super over, Jericho coming off the best work of his career to face three old men, the women being so poorly showcased so they could pull the Santina joke, and Kid Rock being allowed to play his sh** music. It’s the 25th Wrestlemania, they could have done much better.

For me, probably 27. Not one match that I would go out of my way to watch back ever again. Even Rey/Cody and Punk/Orton felt like they could have been much better. Every other Wrestlemania has at least one match that I enjoyed.

Honestly the only rankings that would carry credibility of all 37 Wrestlemania's would be someone who is at least 50years old. Yes we can all go back and watch them and rank them but I feel like only someone around teenage age could remember the atmosphere and the build up in the months and weeks prior. No you couldn't read about it because we know how Vince loves to rewrite history. Stand alone matches on a card yes I guess we could all rank our favorites but the Road to Wrestlemania is what would captivate us and leave us fulfilled or empty when the curtain draws on the last match. The issue there is most old heads let nostalgia control their perspective. It’s all opinion based obviously, but most classic fans have the mindset that wrestling isn’t as good as it used to be. I was born in 1990 and feel that wrestling was, on a very apparent level, far better before I was alive. all taste I suppose.

I love 80s wrestling, but at the same time I don’t dismiss today’s wrestling just because it’s not the same thing which seems to be a thing for some sometimes. I’d rather watch The Hart Foundation vs Demolition over Dolph and Roode vs Street Profits, but at the same time I’d rather watch Sami Zayn over Greg Valentine. It definitely is all subjective.

Taker/HBK, for as great as it was, couldn’t save the show. MITB was solid but doesn’t stand out from 23, 24, or 26. Jeff/Matt was not good (they never had chemistry as opponents for some strange reason). The less said about the women’s battle royal the better. Jericho vs the legends was bad outside of the time he worked with Steamboat (that was great but far too short). Arguably the most forgettable triple threat WHC match in mania history, and a beyond boring main event (a theme for many of the Manias HHH main evented).
