Hit Wal*Mart and Target early this morning. I found a few random ML4's at Wal*Mart. Target was a little better, had some ML5 including 3 Blades. I was tempted to get a Fury, but passed. They also had a Fixit or two, and a Smart Hulk. Smarty doesn't appeal to me too much, so again, I passed. I just picked up a new baseball glove, hamster bedding, Lays Stacks, and a Mother's Day card. Nice grabs. I never knew you played ball in real life. I do to. I wish there was batting cages around so we could hit a few.

Answers? OK, let me see...I've met you like, 3 times. You are a cool guy in person, and no, the age gap is not the reason. It is just that you are always there. Whenever I am banned, you are like, "BRING BACK DEREK, THE D MAN YEEEEAH!!!". Or when I am unbanned, "DROOPY THE DMAN IS BACK!!" Plus, the constant asking me to go to the store with you is weird. This is a forum, and it is hard to establish new "real life" friends on it. You are creepy like that, man. Almost every post you make has something to do with me. You obsession with me is beyond scary. Because I live near you, doesn't mean you have to pick me out of a crowd or a post or whatever. Just enjoy the forum and stop stalking me...it is spooky, almost.
There is your answer.

Interview with Jesse Falcon from Toybiz:http://www.superherotimes.com/newsarchive/000086.php
I wonder if he doesn't underestimate the collectors.

Interview with Jesse Falcon from Toybiz:http://www.superherotimes.com/newsarchive/000086.php I wonder if he doesn't underestimate the collectors. Nice read. And you have a point. If collector's weren't such a big part of the consumers, than why do female figures like Elektra, or second-tier charcaters like Nick Fury, sell so well, considering test-marketing shows kids don't like girl figures and wouldn't even recognize Nick Fury? And why do the kid-friendly figures like Tiger-Stripe Wolverine from XMC and Beast from ML4 lag on the shelves? These are the characters that kids know and love, so if kids are the predominant consumers, why don't these fly off the pegs? The "logical" answer is that parents are the ones deciding what figures they're kids get, but unless you have a huge fanboy parent or a really mean one, they're going to buy what their kids tell them to.

Yeah, and I'm not saying kids don't buy ML, because I would if I were 10 years old. But I have never seen any kid take a look at the ML rack, much less buy one. if they buy any Marvel figure, it's from SMC.

I went to a toy show today and this one dealer had a case of HC 2. Being how I thought this might be my only chance to get any, I picked up Mecha Hulk for $15. He had Absorbing Man for $50 It was the US version with the large Hulk arm. Mecha Hulk is freakin HUGE!!!! I've seen pics, but pics don't do his size justice!!!! A fantastic toy! The action feature down't work on mine, but I don't really care anyway. he;s almost too top-heavy to stand on his own. I'm really digging it though. $15 well spent IMO!

The first ML 6 sighting, sorta: www.fwooshnet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5254I can tell you from visiting other boards, Waiting4MLPDX seems like a straight up guy, and has never given me reason to doubt him. I can;t vouch for his friend though, but it makes sense that HK would get them first. *Strokes chin* If this is true, two weeks before they hit the West Coast. I think it's safe to assume the hunt is on.

with gas prices I brought the hunt to me with this series and the next ;D We'll see. Keep in mind, the West Coast gets things first there Bradley, so it could be close. But knowing you, you're going to go ape crapif someone finds them at reatil, before you get yours from Diamond. Are you getting a whole case, or just the set?

But knowing you, you're going to go ape **** if someone finds them at reatil, before you get yours from Diamond. Are you getting a whole case, or just the set? he he...I won't go ape Chocolate Shark I don't care if others get them first..as long as it's not you I just really, really, really want them(deadpool). and I'm getting full cases of bot 6 and 7. probably 8 too when diamond offers them. with gas prices the way they are I just can't justify goiong all over the place looking for these. I very rarely go on toy runs anymore. I usually only stop places if they're not way out of my way. Like on the way home from work(s) or going somewhere else. Also figure that cases would make it way easier to get the chases(hopefully maskless wolvie)
