The State. The Pirates of Dark Water. Greg the Bunny. While I would have loved more from The State, I think they had a solid run. They did themselves in jumping from MTV to CBS. |

Man, so true. Lot of great stuff here already. Not sure what else I can contribute other than that I wholeheartedly agree with Freaks and Geeks. And it ended in such a way where I was like "Well where does everybody go from here??" and some of the characters were the best versions of their character at the end of it and some of them had unresolved storylines. I almost wish I didn't watch it.
Undergrads was huge here in Canada and I used to watch it a lot but they air reruns every once and a while and I actually feel like it didn't age that well.
I'm surprised somebody said Point Pleasant. I actually really enjoyed that show at the time (not sure if it aged well, haven't seen it since it's original airing) but everybody else I know crapped on it like there was no tomorrow.
Ben & Kate was another one I kind of liked at the time and mostly everyone I knew crapped on it. A couple of other shows came out around this 2010s period like Running Wilde (Will Arnett and Keri Russell) and Selfie (John Cho and Karen Gillan) that I wish had a longer run.
Pirates of Dark Water was leagues ahead of its time and the animation was insanely good.

A few others I’d like to add:
Kidnapped: Cancelled after 1 season. This was a pretty interesting show. With a bit more creativity this could’ve been a 4 season series.
The Returned (The French version) they made 2 or 3 seasons. They made an America version & it lasted 1 season. The American version wasn’t as good.
Resurrection (Same book/idea as the Return) cancelled after 2 seasons.
Chozen: Canceled after 1 season. This was a funny animated show.
I can see why these shows got canned, but perhaps being on a cable network or different cable network & not a local network they could’ve stood a better chance.
