NYC 22: Pretty good show. Based on how many cop shows/spin offs shows they make since/now, (Look at you Dick Wolf) this show should’ve gone on for few more seasons. The Colony: This was text book like Discovery channel programming. But it got canned after 2 seasons. (I heard rumors or it was actual fact as to why it got canceled) but this was Grade “A” example of social experiments. The Black Donnellys: If anything for being on a local channel, this had all the makings to be on HBO or Showtime. This was a good show & had so much potential. Don’t see how it got canned. Detroit 1-8-7: If Dick Wolf’s cop/spin offs are still On, this show should’ve had a longer run. I'm guessing you're not a big fan of the Law and Order shows?

I tried but the drama & acting is just not that good. SVU is by far the worse. The made for tv drama is very over done. Then shows like Chicago P.D, Fire, MED, EMT, etc are just so bad. I’ll try with shows that I have interest in, but Dick Wolf’s drama shows, I just can’t stand.

Law & Order LA was another one that came to mind. It only lasted a season. I think the reason to why it wasn't successful as the other Law & Order series was because it didn't take place in NYC. I only remember watching one episode of it and didn't care for it.

Black Donnellys had a campaign to try and get Mark Cuban to pay for new episodes when HDNet picked it up way back when. Still one beautiful theme song. Imperioli was the bombs in D187 yo!

Their original tv shows, more travel craziness type, were my favs. HDNet was brilliant before AXS got it.

The HDNet I was mentioning was what AXStv is now. The one that had Inside MMA.

The HDNet I was mentioning was what AXStv is now. The one that had Inside MMA. AXS TV is the music channel. My brother would watch some of the classic rock documentaries on that channel. I don't watch that channel often but AXS and HDNet Movies are right next to each other on our cable lineup

Clerks: The Animated Series is some of the best animated comedy I’ve ever watched. Late to this discussion, but Clerks: TAS is seriously one of my favorite things ever. Every time I hear that Kevin Smith is revisiting the Clerks characters, I always hope that he'd broach the idea of casting Alec Baldwin in a cameo as a live action Leonardo Leonardo. I thought he'd have been the perfect walk-in role at Mooby's as a customer. Wouldn't even have to self identify...just a suit, a goatee, and the voice. If you know, you know. Why are we walking like this?

There was a show in the late 90s, Brimstone that I think might have had a chance if it came out at a different time. I loved the plot, a NYC cop that killed his wife's rapist goes to hell. After a group of souls escape hell, the devil makes a deal with him to send him back to earth to capture every one and bring them back, and if he does he gets a second chance on earth. If I remember right, the only way you could kill one of the damned souls was to take out the eyes, because 'the eyes are the windows to the soul.'
