Good day my Wfigs compadres, thinking about "The Mullets" on UPN, got me to thinking about all the shows that never truly got a chance to find an audience, but not necessarily a groove. So many of our shows these days last 1 season and cancelled, if that. What do/did you enjoy that you could bring more eyes to now, that you think deserves a second look?
The Mullets was one I enjoyed back in the day and it went caput. There was a season of a show called "The Days" that was bomb on ABC in the early 2ks. Finally, "Head Cases" on Fox with Adam Goldberg...it lasted 1 or 2 episodes and hooked me instantly.
I know there are many many more of these little shows that deserve a following, but that is where you all come in. Tell your favorites and get some new eyes on old school flavor.

"Freaks and Geeks". It was a really good show. They could have gone on a long time if given the chance.

It only had 6 episodes! Comedy gold here. Shame it didnt last Watched the first episode of this a couple weeks ago. While this show wasn't my comedy style as much as it was as a kid, I would have cracked up then (Naked Gun ruled!), Leslie Nielsen is a national treasure. I wish I got to see the Men With Brooms tv show, Nielsen and Paul Gross made the film so good. |

Clerks: The Animated Series is some of the best animated comedy I’ve ever watched. Just a man, his lifemate, and Susane. The perfection for me was the cast being the same. Snootchie Bootchies. You may also like "Undergrads" from MTV in the late 90s - 2k series. |

Terriers
Such a high quality show that only lasted a season and ended on a cliffhanger. I’d love for it to make a comeback.

Surface
It was this awesome sci-fi show about these creatures that started appearing in the ocean. It had a ton of twists and ended on a cliff hanger, but got canned after one season. Here in the UK watching this show as a massive chore, it changed time slot nearly every week and you had to put in a ton of work just to find out when it was on each week!

Cliffhangers. It only lasted 1 season in 1979. It was 3 TV shows (Stop Susan Williams, The Curse of Dracula & The Secret Empire). I'm still pissed about it.
It got cancelled without finishing 2 of the stories. I guess it lived up to it's name. Har har har.
To a 9 year old grumpyyoungkid, this looked awesome.

NYC 22: Pretty good show. Based on how many cop shows/spin offs shows they make since/now, (Looking at you Dick Wolf) this show should’ve gone on for few more seasons.
The Colony: This was text book like Discovery channel programming. But it got canned after 2 seasons. (I heard rumors or it was actual fact as to why it got canceled) but this was Grade “A” example of social experiments.
The Black Donnellys: If anything for being on a local channel, this had all the makings to be on HBO or Showtime. This was a good show & had so much potential. Don’t see how it got canned.
Detroit 1-8-7: If Dick Wolf’s cop/spin offs are still On, this show should’ve had a longer run.
