My hopes for the regular gear:
Cody: Double or Nothing 2020
Kenny: grey with tag belt
Hardy: I would like the Elite trio version of WWE Elite 6 but it’s probably Damascus
The others don’t matter to me

I guarantee you the people complaining about Shida or Britt not being in the line yet won’t even buy them when they’re available It’s not even that that’s really the problem, I understand wanting more women available. What is really driving me crazy is everyone complaining about Cody & Kenny. As if Target hasn’t had the same 6 WWE guys on the shelves since 2018 and rarely anyone else EXACTLY!!! They’ve been really quiet when it took Kai and Toni 3 years to get figures while Mattel were choking us with Roman and Finn repaints |

I hate to be negative -- but this a really bad set.
Only Sammy is gonna be good. I'm sorry, but who wants Santa and Ortiz over toyetic figures like Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, even Marko Stunt, any of the Dark Order, Britt, other women, Brian Cage.
I think this set is going to sell A LOT less than the others.

Why for the love of god do they keep releasing Cody and Kenny like I get they’re presidents of AEW but like can we just let them be for a while, this is how you KILL a line by rereleasing figures no one wants like where’s BRITT, Shida, Jungle boy, Kong or heck even kip and Penelope??? Remember when releasing too many Hogans and Cenas and Romans killed the WWF and WWE toy lines?? Because "no one" wanted them?? AEW is dead everybody!
This is totally different. In the first 4 waves, they've already released 4 of the figures. Did WWE do that in its first elite offerings? No way

You REALLY want Santana, Ortiz, and especially Matt Hardy (who has hundreds of figures) before the much better -- and toyetic -- talent they haven't made yet? There's a difference between whining and legit criticism.

um I’m sure they did, look at Mattel today aj styles elites and Finn ballots sitting on shelves and yet their still in almost every other set seemingly and heavily packed as well. |

WWE had 5 hours of TV and 3 brands when Mattel started, and they still only went 4 elite series before the first repaint |

If there is going to be a new wave every month starting next Fall, I'd imagine the production won't be what everyone is thinking.
Stores won't order as much of each wave since they know they're scheduled for another wave just a month after so shelves won't clog. With distribution these days and this being a new line for a store like Target, they'll probably get an all of 2-3 cases every month. That's it. With that low of a quantity, they're guaranteed to sell out before the next month's come in.

Santana and Ortiz came to aew as the single hottest free agent tag team in the industry, and took their place in the first main event of dynamite in one of the most important factions and storylines right from the start. So yeah, they should be getting figures this early. |

So thinking about this lineup today;
Kenny - day one preorder.
Sammy - day one preorder.
Santana & Ortiz - most likely a day one preorder, but I want to see what attire they’re in.
Matt Hardy - depends on the attire.
Cody - depends on the attire. A suit would be a day one preorder.

It's two lines shipping every other month. So think in line with how ML has different SKUs for the XMen and Spiderman waves. Whether stores buy enough to meet demand is out of anyone's control. Right now availability on just about any action figure line seems to be short of demand. |

Definitely getting Kenny and The Inner Circle guys. Depends on what attire and accessories if ill get Cody and its a pass for Matt. Don't mind repaints at all,ill buy every one they make of guys like Kenny,Hangman,Darby,MJF etc but I do hope JE,Shida,SCU and Britt are gonna be in the next couple waves.

I agree with anyone who says they hope Kenny isn't his terminator attire, or whatever it would be called. You know what I mean. I wouldn't say I flat out don't like the attire, I think it's okay, it was just used entirely wayyy too long. But I'd still get it...
