Sorry if it’s been asked sometime in the last 27 pages, but why does Santana get the madball Ortiz is known to use and Ortiz comes with...a flipflop? 😒

I'm SO happy to be wrong about the Ortiz figure -- it really looks amazing. Sami on the other hand is a real letdown because of that face...

Wow. Just... wow.
Absolutely amazing.
I love every one of these.
You know, and I've only been back in the game for about 4 years now, but what does it say that it took Mattel YEARS to get their ish together with the WWE line, yet, if these figures are indicative of going forward, Jazwares has reached quality in 4 waves?
I'm sure there's something to be said for the technology of 2010 vs 2020 or so, but really this line has shed it's growing pains mighty fast.
I'm loving that Matt. Sadly I am very broke and don't think I'll be able to get him, which makes me mad. Far superior to the WWE WM one.
The detail on Kenny's tights is astounding. Wonderful paint apps. Plus, corrected skintone and hair. Such an improvement.
Cody is Cody.
Sammy has one hell of a headsculpt. That expression is wild. I do wonder how the hell the coat will come off though. I don't see any joints or seams there. Could be troublesome for those who want to take it on and off.
LAX are awesome, and the flip flop is hilarious.
All in all, awesome line. I can't wait to see Series 5.

I can't wait to see Series 5. Jericho had a similar jacket in S1 and it comes on and off easily. It’s a much softer and more flexible rubber than Mattel uses. In a lot of ways, I don’t think it’s fair or even helpful to compare the two lines. But I do think Mattel has really fallen behind in general in the 6in/$20 figure world. It’s absurd that a decade in they still regularly use the garbage immobile ratchet hip design that they launched a decade ago, or can’t execute metallic paint or color washes when ML can do that for half of a wave plus include a BAF.

That omega is *Chefs Kiss* - would very much like to see a comparison between that and series one [which is the one I have haha]. The new omega and new bucks make me wish I'd have waited now!
Santana/Ortiz look AMAZING. Glad the main Hardy is in his Red gear as well.

Caved in and pre-ordered Santana and Ortiz. I don't want to miss out on them and I've no idea if I'll be able to get them if I hold out.

Honestly we really need to pressure Mattel to do more/better, but idk how. The brand loyalty is really strong that you almost can’t criticize anything on the WWE board

I personally think the weak figure in this set (if there even is one) is matt hardy.

I personally think the weak figure in this set (if there even is one) is matt hardy. It is in terms of AEW figures but man it really is a great broken Matt Hardy figure and with a blonde streak in his hair could represent any promotion. The coat alone looks amazing

Honestly we really need to pressure Mattel to do more/better, but idk how. The brand loyalty is really strong that you almost can’t criticize anything on the WWE board It's totally cliche, but I don't think there's much to do besides "vote with your wallet." And it's probably not totally fair to make it an apples to apples comparison. AEW is a way cheaper license than WWE, so there's less of a cut being taken out of profit margins and more money that can be put into the figure itself while the company still makes money. But I think you're right about the brand loyalty, and kudos to WWE/Mattel for developing that. We had multiple threads here on the scale of the Mox figure. It's not perfect, but it's he's listed at 6'4, and it's about in line with The Rock, Windham, etc who are 6'5. Meanwhile Mox is a good bit shorter than the recent Ivar/Hanson figure, who is 6'2. But I don't think I ever saw any mention on the scale being botched on that one. Again, it's not a contest. But we've heard years of Mattel rationalizing or justifying design choices, or why they couldn't change this or that. It's not going to change. For me the thing that I appreciate is that while Jeremy is definitely his own hype man, he's also been pretty forthright on the screw ups, and if/how they plan to address those issues. Sure, he's going to have more leeway in what he can say as a co-owner compared to a mid level employee. But it's been really nice to just get a pretty straight explanation, instead of "that's a question for design" or "we can't reveal that information."

Darby Allin in Unrivaled 3 too, the coat is very flexible and easy to remove. Even easier if you pop the hands off first.

i might be the only one but matts head is awful, it looks nothing like him...other than the goofy hair. Then you truly need glasses ASAP. I have some, thank you The head is way too thin, he had a wide ass face. the mattel head imo is better.

What were they supposed to do? Soft goods removable shirt? If they could’ve done cloth they would have. They definitely stretched the budget as far as they could on this set there’s a ton of new parts
