My brother recently got Paramount+ for my niece so she could watch Sonic The Hedgehog 2. So I had time last night to check out the selection of movies on there. I was really put off by the lack of movies that are available to watch on there.

There are really too many streaming platforms out there for me. I don't use anything other than Netflix and Amazon. Recently, for some reason, nothing wanted to work normally, and it turned out to be due to a weak Internet signal. I found help on cricket-wireless.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html and I had a good evening watching movies with my friends. Never used other streaming sites. My friends also, and this makes it clear that almost no one needs other streaming sites

I’ll get rid of a platform and next thing I know I hear about a new show or a new season of something I enjoyed comes around and Im getting it again but I love having so much stuff ready to watch anytime I want.

To add on to shows/movies, the gaming subs now - I mean I feels compelled to opt in to the PlayStationPlus new offering simply as there’s not many games that I fancy forking out £60-£70 on these days and it’s a good 3 monthly fee for what it is doing for me. But I did drop out of another sub I had for games simply as I felt, damn this is too much - even though I enjoy it a lot.
I do wonder which platform will win out in the end, I feel like Netflix and others need to make a call soon on are they a channel or are they the platform because Amazon and Apple are just waiting to own everything I feel. Is there a better more unified way for all these things to be paid for - i hate having these small priced monthly fees which obviously stack up over time, I’d rather be able to do it in 1.
Then the content, there’s so much stuff - it’s easy to just not watch something or anything when the quality isn’t there all the time - there’s some shows that have it cracked but many others which are being thrown out there and I just don’t care. I do think this is helping Disney in a way, the quality is out the door, but they are able to garner an audience for new content when they hype it up and make it a central piece for their channel when it’s on - they’re not drowned out by hundreds of other shows and movies.

I just canceled Peacock and got Paramount+ instead. I refuse to get anymore streaming services unless I get rid of one that I already have. Too many already: Netflix (I plan on cancelling to get Hulu instead) Disney+ HBOMax (which I may get cancel though) Apple TV Amazon Prime Paramount+ And we have Dish Network which I just downgraded recently. Way too much money for TV and with mass inflation right now it's harder and harder to justify it.

I only have 3 at a time. Disney + is one of those as a constant though.
Never have Netflix & Prime together or Apple & Paramount +

Never have Netflix & Prime together or Apple & Paramount + This could be because of how much I love Marvel but D+ is the only one I wouldn't even consider to cancel. Prime is in that same category but that's for the free shipping and not the streaming part of it. After The Walking Dead finishes up I can get rid of AMC+ for good, so then ill pick up something else like Paramount+. Personally I'm a bigger fan of D+ and HBO Max then all the others combined.

Yup because of Marvel & Star Wars Id never get rid of D+....I'm also watching NYPD Blue from the start on Disney at the moment and absolutely loving it.
