Complete shock. I just can't believe it. I was a big fan, loved his work and he had really came into his own this past year showing us just how good we always knew he was. Feel so bad for his wife and sons. Hard to read Bray's tribute without tearing up. Rest easy big rig, everybody misses you.

I just keep thinking about his little boys. I have two small sons and I just cannot imagine how this is going to be for them. My dad died last year and it tore me to bits, I honestly couldn't imagine going through it as a child.

This is truly horrible. I remember a fantastic video where he and his son were playing video games with the New Day, you could tell what a great and involved dad he was, and as a father myself that is why this passing is hitting so hard as I really feel for his family. Above all else, that is the real tragedy here, especially as it happened at Christmas.
As a talent, he was great, I loved the run he and Harper had with the Usos these guys clicked together so well and in all honesty, it reminded me a great deal of the matches I loved with The Rockers and The Orient Express as a kid.

This is absolutely horrific and my heart breaks for his family. Wife, children, parents, all of them. This never should have happened.

I’ve always been such a huge fan, and was super excited to see him get another chance in AEW. This is so far out of left field that it’s a total gut punch. I don’t even really know what to say. This is just the most horrific type of tragedy: 41 years old, a day after Christmas, leaving a widow and two children behind. I’m floored. This one will take some time to get over. RIP Jonathan Huber, Mr. Brodie Lee.

I don't even know why I'm trying to post anything right now because I'm conpletely shocked and lost for words. I mean ....damn. One of the best talents I've seen since 2008ish. From RoH to NXT to WWE to AEW . And the terrible (not that it wouldnt be any time) timing for this. My heart feels for his family. R.I.P John/Brodie/Luke.

Such a tragic loss, he seemed like a genuinely kind man outside the ring and was extremely talented with so much left to do in the world. I wasn't watching WWE regularly during the Wyatt Family heyday but over the past two years I was increasingly impressed by what he was capable of in the ring. He was having such a great run in AEW as well. I (and many others I would imagine) have been eagerly awaiting his return from losing the TNT Championship. My sincerest condolences to his family. This has surely rocked their world. He'll certainly be missed.

Apparently he died from lung disease. He must have kept it hidden from the public.

Apparently he died from lung disease. He must have kept it hidden from the public. Sounds like Cancer. He may have done a Chadwick Boseman, and not told anyone. I find it interesting that he lost his TNT title, and disappeared from AEW, but also stopped posting on social media right around that time. I wonder if there was some life support happening and his wife wanted her kids, and her to spend 1 last Christmas with Brodie.

According to Bryan Alvarez, he was told by someone Huber had been admitted to the ICU about two months ago but nobody would back it up or give out any further details. Bryan figured he was doing better until AEW did the spot with his son without him in the arena.

And it could of been a Chadwick thing. But did none of his friends text him on his birthday (December 16th), Thanksgiving, or Christmas? I have friends I only talk to once or twice a year, but always send a birthday wish, and a holidays text, letting them know I love them and hope they are doing well.

It was kept very quiet, clearly on purpose. To me that would suggest we should fight the curiosity bug of speculating because if they wanted us to know exactly what happened, we would know. They being his family, I mean. Don't get me wrong I'm super curious too, but we'll find out more if and when the family wants us to.

Still hasn’t really hit. I’ve been watching a lot of his matches today. I’m adding a Harper tattoo to my wrestling leg sleeve Wednesday. The guy was just so damn special. I’m glad he found success and proper recognition before passing. Reading all the tributes from his friends and coworkers, not seeing a single bad thing said about him, just shows how impactful he was. What a man.
