Thanks! Never would’ve seen that on my own haha. And you wouldn’t be able to spell it out without spending a minimum of $400+ Nope. But, I don't give two sh*ts about spelling some secret phrase. Also not trying to collect every single figure either because there will be, eventually, figures released of wrestlers than I am not a fan of.

"- Early distribution problems were the fault of retail, now, they are his/WCT/Jazwares, and he owns it." I know people will say Im being to optimistic, but I'll take him for his word on this. Personally I can easily see a cross over in items produced/items ordered Vs retail expectation of the product [As in, those ordering things in thought they'd sell....just not like they have done, and hadn't ordered enough in etc. Factor in that and covid/factory changes - it seems logical to me at the very least]. Either way, he's holding his hands up to say currently it's his problem and he is trying to sort it - and I'll take his word on it, for now at least. I personally love these figures and WANT to collect them, so I'll avoid bellyaching until it's fairly obvious crap isn't happening where as right now it appears to be some minor setbacks that are slowly, but surely, being rectified. Patiently awaiting series 2, and beyond

Patiently awaiting series 2, and beyond I'd tend to agree. Jazwares is a much smaller company than a Mattel or Hasbro, who own their own factories. That means experienced factory teams who are used to working on toy lines. And I think we're seeing where the bigger companies have an advantage. Jazwares is probably essentially renting time at a factory, and very likely working with an unfamiliar team. When their time is up, the factory may go to the next customer, even if the job is half finished. Reading between the lines, it seems pretty clear that they bet on the wrong horse and have moved on to a new, and hopefully better, partner. I'm willing to take Jeremy at his word on that, and it fits logically.

Production and distribution are difficult. He just needs to set realistic expectations. He says 9-12 waves per year is the goal, but he's not being clear whether that's next year's or 5 years from now, and that's leading to a fair amount of raised expectations and panic when those expectations aren't met.

They're aiming to do step-laddered releases starting in Q3 2021. So with the shipping timelines he's given, probably something like S3-S8 in 2021, along with re-releases of S1 and S2, and then 9-12 waves per year starting in 2022. I believe Jeremy said that's contingent upon retail (Target and Walmart) signing off on it, which they should know within a few months. I think that's a reasonable ambition. Whether they execute remains to be seen.

Other Jazwares toy-lines didn't really have as much trouble as the AEW line. It's understandable to run into a few bumps along the way, The nationally advertised launch was a failure series 2 they had about 3 months to get slightly back on track but it seems to have not happened. At least he takes responsibility, but at the same time can lose a lot of collectors of the line in the process. Most people that might have went all in for the line might just cherry pick here and there.

Dustin is closer to 6’4 than 6’6 but in saying that he still towers over quite a bit of the roster now if they made the figure a little thicker like Jericho in the last series that may exaggerate his size a bit kinda have to take elites out of the equation as even though everyone was happy enough they were similar in scale there not truly apples to apples in what appears to be the direction there heading

I'm not sure this recap really eluded to what's happening with the factories. Jeremy didn't quite come and say it, but said as much: the factory for series one did not live up to expectations and wasn't going work long term for this line. That's the crux of the issue when it comes to delays. They had to get new factories and he couldn't talk about it publicly until new factories were lined up because you don't burn bridges in business until you know you have a fall back plan. That's why the lines are being produced out of order to keep at least SOME of S2 and S3 on track...all while a global pandemic is going on.
Yet we still have children in this thread acting like they know how to run a toy line and throwing out nonsense comments without the entire set of facts in front of them.

I want TH2 figures it’s the only way I’ll ever get them I've seen a few people say it about th2, and others as well, "why would anybody collect such and such" - Well add me to the "give me a TH2" train as well haha. Jack Evans in my boy and has been since early ROH, and would LOVE to have a figure of him at some point. Hoping the line gets past its teething issues and we get at least one of every person signed.... .....cough* MATT SYDAL TO SIGN ADN GET A FIGURE PLEASE *cough, oh excuse me

I'm glad you were able to read between the lines and realize I was talking about you. You're a tool. Seriously. You're a tool and a troll who brings nothing productive to this message board.

Would love their figures as well. I'm also a Janela and Sonny Kiss fan too, which is always said to have "no one" wanting them. It makes me laugh honestly.

I’m going to remain excited about this line. The figures are nearly perfect IMO. Hopefully they can get everything sorted out and start getting regular releases out on time so we can fill out our AEW rosters.

Has Jeremy clarified what the step ladder shipping means The way I'm understanding it, there would be two different single figure products that would ship roughly on alternating months. The notes in the first post say that they'll both be "Un___" products, so Unrivaled and something else - Undefeated, Unforgotten, whatever. The release schedule would look like: October - Product A Wave 1 November - Product B Wave 1 December - Product A Wave 2 January - Product B Wave 2 In theory, you're keeping fresh product shipping in every month to stores and keeping the pegs stocked with new product. That draws collectors into the store, and keeps something new on the pegs for casual buyers. I could definitely see this being where they launch a "luminaries" line. I can see the logic, and it would sure beat the weeks or months of empty pegs that we see with the Elite line. I think it's similar to the concept with Marvel Legends, where they stagger the waves for X-Men, Avengers, Spiderman, etc in order always keep a fresh product hitting stores. But I'll also be an optimistic skeptic until I actually see this happen.
