The Young Bucks are old hat. Reynolds & Silver are the now. God that match would sell. Silver is the true babyface of AEW, and FTR could really dig into the gritty heel work in that match. How much fun could that be. |

I actually don’t think it’s gonna be FTR vs Bucks What are you feeling? I honestly am not sure, I almost thought Private Party. I just feel like that match official on a two week build and not a clear heel/face dynamic while they are still trying to legitimize FTR’s title reign. I don’t know me personally I wouldn’t do it yet. But if Private Party scored the upset over the Bucks again you have another program to go to while FTR does their thing. |

This is my booking so it’s just my idea, but I mean let’s be honest FTR vs the bucks is years in the making at this point. To me that’s a huge deal! That’s a ppv main event signed six weeks in advance so you can do video packages, interviews, contract signings etc. Its not a two week build from a number one contenders four way two months after FTR win the belts.

One thing I've seen multiple times with AEW is the main event running out of TV time but the wrestlers still have spots they want to do so they start no selling each others finishers or otherwise big spots. Cody had one of these not long ago and Moxley and Archer did it last night. It really takes me out and I wish someone could call an audible and just have Moxley get the rollup finish he was going to get anyway without blowing off each others finishers (especially after wasting the moment of someone kicking out of paradigm shift)

Here's my thing on people not liking Rusevs video game character..
It's HIM! Like, that's his interest.. just like drinking beer and hunting and 4-wheelers was Austin's, or Motorcycles was Takers.
There's millions upon millions of adults who play video games, as well. So it doesn't make it a "stupid" character, it makes it very relatable. I'd say much more so than his Bulgarian character. There's many more gamers than there are Bulgarians.
Lastly, is it because people think video gamers are "weak" or something? Cause uh.. pretty sure Miro would thrash most people, and guess what? He's a gamer.

The FTR vs. Bucks thing is sooooo odd. FTR can be heels, probably should be, but.. they are massively popular and everyone I talk to online wanted them in AEW. So, does that make them faces, after all?
That said, I'm of the belief that the Bucks do have a limited fan bases. For the people that like the kind of thing they do, they do that specific kind of thing, so they have those fans. Most casual fans, probably, in my opinion as well as many other people's, they won't get over with those casual fans. They are just too reliant on "tricks" and they don't have good promos, or the larger than life appeal.
So badass heels for the Bucks, or whatever they are becoming, weird. I'd rather see them as weasely heels vs "face" FTR.

I think the problem with the tag team picture is that FTR vs most teams on the roster aren’t big enough matches to build to a PPV spot.
Besides the Bucks, Lucha Bros, and Best Friends I don’t see a team that could go 20+ with FTR and have a great match.
