I enjoyed the show but theres a few things I didn’t like. Really not a fan of this Miro gamer gimmick

Some good wrestling/action on the show. Not a fan of a few of the finishes though. That FTR - Friends ending was absolute trash. Whoever came up with that needs to be slapped, and Mike Knox should catch a backhand for his part in it as well. They made Miro look strong in the ring, but continue this stupid video game bullsh*t. MASSIVE fail. Overall, I think this was a letdown. For a 1 year anniversary I expected a lot more, especially when we've gotten better shows through the year for no special reason.

It's awesome how quickly Kingston became one of the best parts of AEW (I'd say easily top five at this point). The man took that ball and is running with it. Archer  ing people up for his entrance is always amusing to me It's tied with Sami Zayn's obnoxious dancing for things in wrestling that always make me smile. |

All the Miro hate surprises me, I really think his stuff has been fun. He looked incredible tonight. He and MJF are the only two guys who properly know how to get over in a job match too. Was nice to see.

Miro has overall had bad reception and seems to be relatively aimless. is he a face? is he a heel? why do we care that he's some goof that's into video games? and Matt is just issue after issue. I think they thought he'd bring to the table what Jericho did, and at this point Hardy has nothing much left to give. I don't think fans are clamouring to see Matt Hardy in 2020. |

One question I don’t get and see if anyone can shed any light on this for me? Why are they botching what is the easiest slam dunk feud in the company? The Bucks and FTR? Why did they turn the bucks? Or at least kill them momentarily as baby faces? To me it was easy just have FTR day the bucks are at the bottom of the ladder and need to beat every team to get a shot. Having the bucks act like jerks doesn’t make me wanna see the match at all.

Couple of thoughts:
I'm not enjoying Miro as much as I thought I would.
Loving Best Friends - hope they get the titles at some point.
If Bucks are gonna go crazy old school Bucks then fine but the tiresome super kick jokes are getting a little boring.
Cody went back blonde already? LOL
I really wish Fire Ant & The Colony would appear.

The Bucks heel turn, like most of their things, seems to be pretty polarizing. They've done heel-ish things since day 1, and there is a very large crowd that's been clamoring for them to go back to being the superkick everything heel Bucks. Now that they have, the ones that preferred them as faces are less happy. Thankfully they realize they can't please everybody, so whichever direction they go, they aren't flip-flopping on a weekly basis. Personally I'm fine either way, in my eyes they've always been heels in AEW for they way they've treated anyone not named Kenny Omega. Even the tag match back against Dustin and Cody they very much worked the heel role.
Should be a great PPV. I figured it'll be FTR vs Bucks because it can actually main event, which has been a goal of theirs since Day 1, and setting up Kingston vs. Mox again, while perfectly capable of selling as a main event, doesn't need to be, because we know Kingston isn't actually winning.
