Before orchestral conductors used Baton's they used a staff and pound on the ground with the staff. This all changed when Jean Baptiste Lully accidentally stabbed himself in the foot with the staff, refused treatment, got gangrene and died. Eventually this method was abandoned in favor of batons.

The spire atop the empire state building was originally intended for mooring zeppelins

TIL that the original PlayStation was only 32 bits. Pretty interesting considering it was able to compete with the N64.

That Ames sponsored a NASCAR in the early 90s I remember being mad that Ames bought out my favorite department store Zayres. To me it was the “big guy” coming in squashing the little guy. Jeez were we all in for it eventually

The new forklift at work is smaller than the old one. Cracked the top of my head twice climbing onto the damn thing.

The Ottoman Empire and Warner bro's existed concurrently for a brief period of time. Crazy.
I also just have thinking a lot about life and life's choices.

Anime seem to be following the strictly Combo Pack strategy for their physical releases. So fun times from here on out.

The Sega Saturn was a great system. I think it gets overlooked because of the psx and n64 but it was good nonetheless. I remember playing virtual fighter and WWF in your house on the Saturn.
