As a collector of both ML and WWE who only has one walmart to judge things by?
Neither line is perfect. Since getting back into collecting, I have seen the same several figures pegwarm both sections. Specifically the Summerslam Basics and anything Seth/Finn/AJ for WWE, and the Hulk and FF waves for ML. But, at the same time, both sections have seen new, much hotter sets come and go, flying off the shelves within a day or so of their arrival. Gamerverse was gone within a few days, and I never even saw BW outside of Taskmaster. And for WWE, E75 pretty much evaporated overnight (repeatedly), as did E72 and B105
All that said?
There's at least 6 separate pegs for ML in my store.
There doesn't even exist a peg spot for the Elites. They're just tossed on the bottom shelf.
So take from that what you will.

Showing two new figures, during a pandemic, in between Wrestlemania reveals and SDCC reveals and yet a lot of people are throwing a fit. Wild. Not sure what a pandemic has to do with revealing toys, but ok. I think he means there are more important things to be upset about than just revealing 2 figures in an announcement. |

FWIW, Johnny and Candice are both toy collectors, and Johnny specifically seems to be pretty into WWE figures as per his Instagram, so them being involved in some kind of promotion for the line could be cool. The Raider tenders look good, hopefully this is the start of some “rolling reveals” leading up to the original SDCC dates. Same Roberts is still horrendous though.

I’m thinking elite 80 will hit around December.
Elite 76 mid May
Elite 77 mid June
Elite 78 July-August
Elite 79 September-October
Elite 80 November-December

Wrestlemania in Orlando I actually got to talk to Johnny about wrestling figures, it was awesome. He was actually geeking out about getting into axxess early and getting an Austin Aries figure. He said if someone had told him that he would have a figure one day next to a Bryan Danielson and an Austin Aries figure he would have never believed me. |

Viking Raiders look pretty good, the Berzerker needs company. These guys translate well into figures can't wait to see the painted protos. Hopefully we see these by Late November.
