I suspect Owen is highly likely
Road Warriors Arn & Tully Rock n Roll Express Jericho Malenko I wonder if Vickie being there effects potential for getting Eddie at some point if she didn’t sign it all away already

Looking forward to Legends that Mattel either didn't get to in time for WWE or never had the rights to. Some notables: Rock'n Roll Express, "Natural" Dustin Rhodes, and Taz.

But I'm going to assume it's not happening until we see something concrete, just to not get my hopes up. Eddie is an interesting question. Vickie said she signed away full rights to WWE, but he does have a PWT store and had a Micro Brawler figure. I do think putting Jake and DDP in the legends line is an effort to undercut demand for AEW figures before their deals run up. Maybe not the primary motivation, but these guys have been under contract for a decade with few figures, and suddenly pop up at an interesting time. I do think it's *possible* that a line could succeed with some less prominent anchor talent of guys who haven't had figures in a long time. I'm thinking Raven, Harley Race?, RVD, etc. Honestly I have no idea what demand for a lot of these figures might be. Nostalgia collecting is in a very different place than it was 10-15 years ago. We're seeing insane secondary market prices on legends figures. But you really have no idea which end is up until you can get some sales data.

How do you know he has resigned with WWE- there has been no official confirmation of him re-signing, just rumours?!
What about Macho Man, he can definitely anchor a line and he had tons of different attires that they could make figures of?!
Also, I am sure Jeremy has him at the top of his list of potential legends he would like to sign seeing as how he wasn't able to sign him when he was working at Jakks. Mattel hasn't done Macho justice IMO and Jazzwares being a smaller company with lower costs and likely lower profit margins should be able to produce some top quality figures of Macho with the budget they have to work with and would also pump out some exclusives.
His estate was managed by the same company that manages Andre's estate (CMG Brands) at one point, although I am not sure if they still do as he is no longer listed on their website?! If Lanny is smart he should do what Andre's estate does and not sign any exclusive deals- Macho is a license to print money IMO (as far as merchandise of him goes) so he should sign deals with other companies too not just restrict it to Mattel/WWE.
Does WWE actually own the rights to Eddie Guerrero's likeness or was his wife referring to the WWE legends deal where they own the rights for the duration of the contract?! I don't understand why she would sign away the rights to his likeness, like Lanny Poffo with Macho Man's estate, she stands to make lots of $$ from merchandise due to Eddie's huge popularity.

Sting is based on a report from one of the wrestling news sites that he re-signed. Take it with a grain of salt, but any Sting/AEW talk spiked out of nowhere and then pretty much went radio silent. Macho definitely would fit the bill as well. Maybe they do something similar to Andre where they won't sign away exclusive rights. See my previous post on Eddie, but I think Vickie may have misspoke. Eddie has a PWT store, which would be all but impossible if WWE did in fact own all trademarks to his name and likeness. But worse deals have certainly been made. You have to think that Jeremy is making a hard run at any major name available. But I do think it's tough to compete with the whole package (toys, games, jackets, cards, etc) and global exposure that WWE can offer to some of these big time merch sellers.

But you really have no idea which end is up until you can get some sales data.i I get why you would think that way regarding Owen but it’s pretty clear Jericho and the producers for Dark Side of the Ring have all made allot of headway in regaining Martha’s trust as she already acted on Jericho’s suggestion of moving Owen product through Pro Wrestling Tshirts and I can easily see Jericho introducing her to Tony Khan if he hasn’t already and that relationship going forward w Mutual trust as Martha clearly is open to doing something but simply wants insurances that the people involved truly care and have nothing but the most positive intentions and of course the foundation as you smartly noted will be a piece of the foundation of that relationship but that feels like a layup for Tony Khan and or Jeremy Padawer etc etc id highly recommended Talk is Jericho episode w Martha recently 5/14/20 Hart to Hart As well as the the Major pro wrestling podcast interview w Jason Eisener & Evan Husney 5/1/20 The Dark Side of Collecting

I think Owen figures will happen at some point, I just hope they don't decide to make a few limited edition figures but also make at least one mass produced figure that everyone can have the opportunity to buy. I did not collect Jakks figures so I am not very familiar with Jeremy but from what I have seen he seems to really like exclusives and limited edition figures- I hope this is not the direction he takes with any potential Owen figures.

Some of you are wayyyy to hopeful.
Macho will not be made by AEW, neither will any star currently under some sort of deal with wwe. Having a PWT store doesn’t matter either, as wwe doesn’t own exclusive shirt rights to stars and each contract is different.
And tony won’t charm Martha. She hates the wrestling business and for her to do something like that would be dumb.
Give the company and figure line time. They could be gone in a year for all we know

They could be gone in a year for all we know You are unequivocally wrong about Martha Hart and you should listen to some of the media she's done this year. She straight up told Jericho that she would be open to New Japan honoring Owen's legacy because she doesnt hate wrestling and knows how much it would mean to his fans. She just doesnt want the WWE to make a dime off of his name. Her prerogative. If something were set up where the profits went to the Owen Hart Foundation and WWE had ZERO ties to it, there would be a possibility. A given? Even likely? I don't know, maybe maybe not. But she's on record as being open to it.

After hearing her this year on Jericho's pod and Darkside of the Ring, I can see a situation where she allows for a figure to be made. She acknowledges how much Owen loved his fans, but he was family first. I think if there's a way to use his likeness to benefit Owen's Foundation, I think it could get done. My concern is if there is an Owen Hart figure, we will have idiots posing it in upsetting positions and posting it online. That would be terrible

I am going with no The Legends of Wrestling game series made by Acclaim back in 2001,2002 had Owen Hart with the exact outfits with logo's that he wore in his WWF time. The only gimmik thats a no go is the Blue Blazer since the WWE owns that likeness I believe. Anyways its a matter of getting Jeremy to contact Martha to make this happen.

This business did her and her family dirty. She has every right to not play ball. That said, I have my fingers crossed. JP could use his likeness and make a figure of the year.

At least from guys they have contracted, I think I would love to see a 1993ish Dustin Rhodes. To my knowledge we never had one, and I was such a mark for Dustin back then. I mean I still am, but I was a kid then.

They should make a Legends Knock-off line. Make a blatant Taker figure but call him "Generic Dead Man".
