At least from guys they have contracted, I think I would love to see a 1993ish Dustin Rhodes. To my knowledge we never had one, and I was such a mark for Dustin back then. I mean I still am, but I was a kid then. Starrcade 1993 dustin Rhodes is one of my biggest wants It would be awesome to see Jazwares make a Dusty figure but WWE owns his rights. Unless they go with my knock off line idea and call him something other than Dusty.Or have him come as a BAF.

Ugh, does the WWE own the Rhodes name for all 3 guys? They may have rights to the name, but they certainly do not own Dusty Rhodes in any way shape or form. Michelle Rhodes would. So if there is a deal, it would expire at some point. They do certainly own Cody Rhodes though, unfortunately. He never used that name anywhere but WWE owned properties. And they just renewed the copyright claim on it not long ago.

Ugh, does the WWE own the Rhodes name for all 3 guys? If I have it correct, it's to do with use of the name before/during WWE: Dustin used his ring name "Dustin Rhodes" prior to being in WWE, so they can't claim to own it - however Cody was only ever called "Cody Rhodes" in WWE, so they can claim that since it't not his real name, it's owned by them. I believe Cody has since said he can use the Rhodes name if he wised to do so, presumably by agreement with WWE to some degree or potentially a legal loophole that allows it, but has chosen to stay as "Cody" for now.

Tony Schiavone is a must...would also like to see some classic teams like Rock and Roll Express, Steiner Brothers, Midnight Express, and Powers of Pain. Those are my 4 most wanted teams. I'm sure Mattel will never make them...so Jazwares may be our only hope.

The loophole is probably the use of the trademark. You can’t sit on a trademark just to prevent someone else from using it. You have to show intent to use the trademark - problem is why would wwe do something with the Cody Rhodes name in essence promoting another companies talent. So if Cody went to court he could argue they are only holding the trademark to prevent him from using it but they have no intent to use it. However that would be a lengthy and convoluted and I’m not sure of the time - only they have to prove intent. Could be they can sit on it for 5 / 10 years before using it

Potentially - I only know very very basic level that they have to show intent to use it. Not sure if old footage still bring shown classes as that or if it has to be “new” output - these things are never simple lol

Hopefully if all outcomes are favorable, Andrew Yang will be in a position in government come January that WWEs Independent Contractor issues as well as their many other monopolistic business practices such as this about names, will all be finally resolved.
🤞🏻

I'd be happy with a flashback taz and they could release the FTW belt with cage so you could display the belt with taz too.

But most likely nothing would change about licensing/trademark squatting. The issue is the way the laws themselves are structured, rather than WWE's behavior. And they've been that way for decades, regardless of which political party was in power.
