Biggest regret that you didn't pick up?

Since you started collecting Mattel, what was that one or two figures you literally had in hand or in your cart for checkout and decided not to pull the trigger on that you totally regretted later on?

For me, it was the DM Shawn Michaels in the white attire. I distinctly remember seeing three on the shelf and thinking how much I hated the attire. ARGG.

Elite 22 The Giant. It was under $20 too.
Elite WM 30 HBK. The figure was out for a year & I could’ve picked it up for $40 or under.

E22 giant was the first figure I ever bought at retail. I wasn’t planning to buy any wrestling figures but I checked the section. It was the only elite in the store at the time. Kismet. I got it as a Xmas gift for my son so we opened it, but I (for some reason) saved the empty box until just last week I threw it away

The second week after I started collecting, the local Walmart had Flashback 3 (No Harley). 2 Steamboats, 2 Jakes, 3 Austins. I grabbed one Ricky and figured I’d come back and get Jake the next weekend. Nope.

I passed on the Defining Moments Shawn Michaels cause I didnt feel like it was a true "flashback/legend"....I eventually picked it up later on though.

I haven't been back into collecting for long. But Elite Syxx on clearance at Walmart for $5. I love Sean Waltman, dunno why I didn't just get it.

The Ric flair from the WWE retros I seen two of them at five below and didn't pick him up now that figure go for crazy money and of course flashbacks series 3 I never saw them in stores at all.

I regret not picking up the early DMs. The only original dm (before the comeback in 2014) I got was Bret Hart but I remember holding and seeing all of them and putting them back. The ones that hurt most are the Macho Man, HBK, Warrior, and Taker. Back then we really didn't know what was coming so I held off for future releases..and back then basics were just as awesome as elites so I passed on some good elites in favor of basics.

There's a few figures i regret not getting, mainly Jakks.

- Deluxe Aggression 14 Brian Kendrick
Saw it in store in 2008, begged Mum to please get it but she said no, and that we can get it next time. It wasn't there next time.
Never saw it in store again, about a year later i got the Paul London and never completed the duo as Deluxe's.

- Deluxe Aggression 3-pack: Undertaker, Rey Mysterio & Finlay
Had this on Layby in 2007 but we ended up forgetting about it, so Target put it back out on the shelf and i never saw it again. I was bummed about this mainly because i really wanted that Rey Mysterio in the Red attire.

- Jakks Dragon Ball Z Piccolo & Nail 2-pack
Back when my stores were actually getting DBZ figures, i really wanted to get this but once again, Mum hit me with the "No, next time". Never saw it again.

- TNA Marvel figures
Saw these in Kmart in 2007, i was only just getting familiar with TNA at the time so i didn't know much about them. They had the Red attire Scott Steiner, who i knew from old WWE DVD's, a few others & the ring with the Red AJ Styles. I somewhat wanted the Steiner at the time, but not over the WWE Deluxe's they had. I didn't regret not getting them at the time, but now i definitely regret not getting at least 1.

- WWE Elite 7
I don't regret this that much since i still don't like the figures or the attires that much, but i went to Kmart and they had the entire set. The only regret about not getting any of these, is how rare they've become and their current price... This would also be the last Elite set i'd see in stores until Series 37



As for the rest, I didn't have them in hand or online cart, but saw them for a regular price on Ebay and didn't get them.
