You don't know what their books look like. There are organizations all over the country who are releasing tens of thousands of workers. From what I have seen, you rip the WWE constantly, so you aren't going to listen to any opinion other than your own on this subject. This is an awful day for these men and women, period. And yes, their financials are public, but we don't know what their forecasts show for the upcoming months. None of us have that information. They give their projections in their quarterly conference calls.

The only real shocks thus far are Anderson and Gallows. Otherwise, no huge surprises.

I cant see anything on Mike and Maria as being released anywhere so far? WWE has come to terms on the release of Kurt Angle, Drake Maverick (James Curtin), Curt Hawkins (Brian Myers), Karl Anderson (Chad Allegra), Luke Gallows (Drew Hankinson), Heath Slater (Heath Miller), Eric Young (Jeremy Fritz), Rowan (Joseph Ruud), Sarah Logan (Sarah Rowe), Mike Chioda, Mike Kanellis (Mike Bennett), Maria Kanellis, EC3 (Michael Hutter), Aiden English (Matthew Rehwoldt), Lio Rush (Lionel Green), Primo (Edwin Colon) and Epico (Orlando Colon Nieves). We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. This is copied and pasted from WWE.com

I don't believe the outrage should lie in them just letting excess talent go. Plenty of them had been underutilized and would have been cut a lot sooner in any other era, frankly.
It's that this being done in a time where nearly the entire world is experiencing financial difficulties, including other wrestling companies. I assume most are feeling more pain right now than the 'E, so it may not be as simple for guys and gals to "get back on their feet". Some would have been in better position if they had been let go previously, instead of drawing paychecks catering table.

They give their projections in their quarterly conference calls. lol amazing. bad timing, but yeah, none of those releases are a surprise and the talent in the back I wasnāt even aware half of them were employed. so shitty for them, but I have no real gripes in this outside the timing.

I'm assuming they're furloughed though, not released. From what I've read, agents are being furloughed with the plan of being brought back after the COVID problem is somewhat resolved; talents are being let go.

I would get Fit Finlay and Mike Rotunda to work for me if I ran a wrestling promotion.

Is that what we're up to? That's insane. And basically every single active wrestler on there was a jobber that was barely used š¤·š¼ True, but seeing it spelled out like that really drives home how they were hoarding talent. Hell, you cut that many people from almost any other company and they'd be gutted. Here, it's a drop in the bucket. The only really surprising names are Gallows, Anderson, Chioda, and Armstrong...and I guess Angle. I thought they'd keep him around for his knowledge and skill.

Yup. This is the final shove I needed to be fully done with this company. the WWE, and Vince McMahon. Because another failed experiment with XFL Part Deux where he spent all of his money, to allowing that to trickle down to talented people losing their jobs (Lance Storm JUST closed down his school for this)...to Linda's MILLIONS spent on her failed political run... this company. Their failings become other people's problems, and hardships. I can't and will not support that. Lol you understand this is because of COVID-19 right? Otherwise all these people would still be employed What part of you not understanding that because of XFL shutting down, Vince's pet project, he lost a crapton of money, therefore this is trickling down because of that? AEW has yet to release anyone, have they? This is just Vince's greed and lining his own pocketbook. Don't be so naive as to think it's as black and white as all that.
