Yet Alicia Fox keeps her job lol Gutted for Hawkins, top dude who lives for this, hope he bounces back quick. Alicia Fox isn't with the company anymore. Blimey, I genuinely thought she would be there until the end of time.

All Vince McMahon cares about is money. He doesn't care about people or families. He truly is just an evil, rotten, piece of sh*t. I was talking about this via text with @ham, how is WWE in such financial ruins after only 6 weeks? This whole thing seems like just an excuse to fire people and trim fat and save even more money. WWE has been so against firing anyone because they thought it would make them look bad as a "job creator". I'm sure these are people WWE has wanted to get rid of for a while. Now they have an excuse. It's really hard to be a fan of WWE when all they care about is money and care so little about the physical health, and financial well being of the performers who risk their lives. I think I'm done with WWE. Maybe once Vince is dead I'll circle back around. I just can't support it right now. The WWE stans are trying to defend the layoffs and they're really showing their ass. Agreed. I'm disgusted with fellow fans right now, as well.

But they didn't lose their deal. They're cutting costs when they don't need to. You don't know what their books look like. There are organizations all over the country who are releasing tens of thousands of workers. From what I have seen, you rip the WWE constantly, so you aren't going to listen to any opinion other than your own on this subject. This is an awful day for these men and women, period. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be a d*ck. According to their own press release, $48 million would cover every talent and employee payment for the rest of the year. They also said they have $500 million in reserves to "weather the storm". They're using the pandemic to lay people off and it's a bad look. I do rip the WWE pretty often. I'm critical of their business practices and the way they waste the talent they have. I want WWE to be the best they can be because that would force the rest of the world's wrestling to become better too. Again, I'm not arguing just to argue. This company does some really sh*tty stuff and it's bonkers that people blindly defend it.

Lol you understand this is because of COVID-19 right? Otherwise all these people would still be employed What part of you not understanding that because of XFL shutting down, Vince's pet project, he lost a crap ton of money, therefore this is trickling down because of that? AEW has yet to release anyone, have they? This is just Vince's greed and lining his own pocketbook. Don't be so naive as to think it's as black and white as all that. Vince took a bath, but the XFL and WWE financials are totally separate. The XFL has nothing to do with today's roster cuts.

Alicia Fox isn't with the company anymore. Blimey, I genuinely thought she would be there until the end of time. From what I remember she was shut down and went to rehab to try to get her life back together and her contract just quietly expired. Her profile was moved over to alumni on the site.

would not be interested in any of this talent so far coming to AEW. Karl Anderson, EC3 (seems like a guy Cody would love to book), and Lio Rush would be cool.

And yes, their financials are public, but we don't know what their forecasts show for the upcoming months. None of us have that information. They give their projections in their quarterly conference calls. And that occurred a month or two ago. Lots of things have changed since then.

I think some of them will go to AEW, Impact Wrestling, NWA and Lucha Underground. Don't be so sure. Other promotions are operating with $0 live gate, if they're having any shows at all.

You need to watch Drake Maverick's video that he posted on twitter. It will get to you, believe me. He is very emotional about today.

Honestly though, if I was engaged to Chelsea Green and got to see her walk around in her shorty shorts all day, I wouldn't even give a crap about toys, I would be too busy in the bedroom with her!

If you want to see what this day means to at least one of the performers, please go and find Drake Maverick's video he posted on twitter. It's a pretty powerful two minutes.
