Surprised (but not) that we haven’t gotten any updates about NJPW Series 2 or even announcements for Series 3.

I've finally opened up all of my figures from this set and am beyond impressed!
They arrived around March and I'd debated opening depending on supply and rarity but I got the New Japan bug and over the past few weeks opened up Tanahashi, Okada and Ospreay and love them! Yes Tanahashi could have had a better attire but the skin colouring isn't an issue for me and the likenesses are close enough that alongside amazing soft goods they have taken pride of place in my display.
So excited to see if we can get more future series done for these as I'm dying to get a Jay White and hopefully (as an Englishman that's watched him for the past 11 years) a ZSJ! The lack of communication around this is worrying but I'm hopeful we at least get an update at SDCC next month!

I’m still happy with series 1 and stoked for series 2 to arrive (whenever that may be)
Has Tama Tonga been confirmed for series 3 along with Jay White or did I dream that
If so and they are going all Bullet Club then I hope we get KENTA and maybe Bad Luke Fale or Ishimori
Ideally I would want Ibushi and Sanada

I kind of hope we see or hear anything for their series 3 NJPW figures this week since it's SDCC week. I also hope we get an update on our series 2 pre orders, but I won't get my hopes up.

Got Andre the other day. In a recent interview talking about Silverhawks, Brian said the next few months should be good for Ultimate's collectors, guessing there going to be shipping a bunch of stuff, and announcing some other pre-orders.

At this point I’m sure they’ll likely give a final production video update on series 2 showing improvements they may have made to then Segway into series 3 pre-orders.
All speculation, but in a recent pixeldan interview Brian spoke on how he won’t allow more than 2 pre-orders to up before the first batch ships.
Maybe they wanna wait & give us a chunky update

I finally got a chance to open my series one, and I have to admit I actually like them. When I first saw photos of the finished product I was disappointed, but now having them in hand, I’m glad I got them. Still waiting on my series two, and depending on who is in series three I might skip it. But if Kota Ibushi is in that series he is a definite buy.
