Realized earlier we are still waiting on 1971 Japan Andre (not technically NJPW). This figure was put up for pre-Order over 6 months ago with no real updates. The only info I can find on it is from B B TS that says sometime in Q2. I believe he updated this in the twitch MWFPod episode. We’ll probably get a update in June.

Series 2 pushed back to August or later:
Unfortunately one of the items on your order #xxxxxx has been delayed.
That item is: New Japan Pro Wrestling Series 2
This item has been pushed back by the manufacturer. We've been told we can now expect to receive them around August.
Please be aware this manufacturer delay is completely out of our control. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Finally got them. Packaging 10/10 Entrance gear 10/10 Belts 5/10 painted IC crap. No shine. Straps way too thin. Clips too flimsy to even buckle. Other accessories 4/10 dirt cheap thin plastic. Figs 6/10 stiff joints, ultra loose wrists, loose ankles, light/cheap plastic overall.
Its easy to see a lot of energy and thought and effort was gone into these. Unfortunately overall the end product falls flat on its face. Still manages to look good on display.

Opened up loosies of the rest of the set. Good on Ishii and Tana but my goodness that Ospreay. Seen many customs that I was more a fan of. Skintone, spray tan, giraffe neck.

The non-kickpad legs are just awkward.

The non-kickpad legs are just awkward. The legs are what ruin them the most for me. The crotch pieces are completely encased in rubber, which is kind cool, but it hinders the legs from moving up forward. Buddy from s7 needs to get over trying to make these look less manufactured. If thats what He wants go make statues. The end consumers want what they want

The non-kickpad legs are just awkward. The leg articulation and those rubbery crotch pieces are something I have always hated about the MOTU Classics buck figures. The MOTUC buck wasn't even that good by 2008/9 articulation standards....yet Super 7 still keep using it for the Ultimates figures. They should be making the croth area like WWE Elite and Marvel Legends etc as it allows for far better range of motion for the hip joints.

Finally opened my full series and they look awesome on display.
My Ospreay has no movement swivel at the waist. Do we think these will be ok to use the hairdryer treatment to loosen it

I haven't opened mine up yet but debating whether to, do you think this set will be desirable down the line? I am tempted to get 2 sets, 1 to open and the other to keep stored away

Cheers - they look great and normally I'd rip them open but I just have a feeling about the short supply and limited availability
