I cancelled my Ringside order. Once they eventually come in I may circle back around to getting them, but I felt it was better to cancel now and use the money to grab some newer things I want that I otherwise would've been waiting to pick off here and there over time.

Canceling is a tempting idea for me, only because communication has been so poor around the delay and when they’re due. We had someone in this thread that was responsive and then disappeared without a trace also. The customer service has just really rubbed me the wrong way.
I wish I had series 1 also so I knew if I like the articulation enough to get the Cardona and Myers figures but I have no idea what to expect.

And to think in this instance there were no personal attacks, only people who were justified in being mad about being dicked around and no transparency at all from Super7 as to what was happening.

I picked up the recent Lion-O and Mumm-Ra from their SF store the other day and man, the figures are damn good. It’s refreshed my interest in this line. If the quality of figure is on par with their Thundercats they will be worth the wait. I did ask the rep for any updates on the New Japan line and he said New Japan has been very involved with giving them feedback weather it be tweaks to colors or changes. Saying since this is their first US release of figures like this they want to make sure everything is perfect. I know most here are getting frustrated with the wait, but once we finally get them I really feel like it will be worth the wait.

Ultimates Mumm-Ra is already out from Thundercats? I just my tracking for Jackalman, and they factory screwed something up with him and Panthro so they are re-doing those figures. If they can get their Target dates slightly better and be more up front they can do very well. WB and NJPW hold their merchandise to very high standards.

Not sure when they started shipping for those who preordered but they had them in store at their San Francisco, CA. location starting Thursday afternoon. I picked them up Friday when they first opened.

Super7 has a long history of never hitting estimated release dates, and not being very transparent about when things will come out. It really sucks, but the positive is they do at least release stuff. It doesn't just sit around ever. Between COVID and their usual delays, we just have to be patient. All we can hope is the final product is worth the wait.

They really learned their lessons with the first MOTU Classics figures. Nowadays they seem to rather take their time to supply a quality product over rushing things. Meanwhile the waiting is well worth it. However no one is forcing them with their deadlines, so I don’t get why they not simply tale the time they need and announce it later. 🤷🏼♂️ Anyway, pretty sure they will learn a better communication too (sooner or later).

What happened with the first MOTU classic figures? Not the best product overall. Milky plasic, cheap feeling overall, more or less sloppy paintjobs. They said they were using a different fabric than Mattel has used before. It looked to me like typical starting issues, however people were annoyed because they took premium prices. I would say most of the issues are fixed meanwhile.

Honestly, I'd rather wait for a good product, then have something substandard. I've already spent the money anyway.
It's like when games or software is rushed out so fast that it's super buggy, or glaringly incomplete. We can't get months of patches to fix bad figures.

S7 is sending out the correct parts (Panthro's trunks, Jackalman's fur parts and guns in their correct colors...plus a Panthro head with glowing eyes!) to everybody who purchased Panthro and/or Jackalman. Those are going out sometime in November.

You want series one of these you better order then. The whole set is sold out on rsc and ishi is sold out. They aren’t gonna have extras of all of them once they come in stock. They probably only ordered a certain amount of pre orders and once they are gone they are gone.

Unless you're living in a cardboard box on the street and NEED that cash, you'll regret cancelling.

Nice try but, all of these are still available for pre order at places that are big and bad as well as other places.

He was the one I wanted most, but I was holding off because I didn't think many others wanted him as much as I did.

Brian Flynn did a podcast with The Fwoosh talking about the Ultimates line and other than a throwaway line about how they're making New Japan figures, he said nothing about them. He replies to people on IG saying there's an update coming "very soon" but those replies are a week or two old at this point. Very frustrating.

The wait is making me start to regret ordering, but I can't cancel because I ordered off Super7. But I'm still looking forward to adding them to my collection.
