Davies has been sort of garbage since he got hurt though. I can't say I'll miss him.

Hes still real young with potential for a guy whos arm is made out of bubble gum and is a FA at the end of the year.
Blood is in the water and the Braves can smell the Mets

i honestly did not know that octavio dotel had a job anymore; much less, that he was a desired player and good call jimmy, the phillies are prepared to keep it on the downlohse I remember when we dumped Kyle Lohse for next to nothing last year cause he was awful. Sounds like it'll be Castlillo to Mets for two minor leaguers that don't really interest me. Oh well, hopefully Alexi Casilla gets called up to play second. He's basically the same hitter, he is younger and his knees aren't killing him.

I made a Ted Lilly facebook group. It's about his suicide contemplation which, at this point in time, is more severe than ever.

Your attendance in the group is much appreciated, Jimbo. I didn't realize you were so young!

Jason Stark on ESPN is saying that the Yankees and Rangers are discussing a deal that would send Gagne to the Yankees for Clippard, Marquez, and another low-level prospect.
Also, rumors are circulating of Proctor being sent to the Dodgers for Wilson Betemit.
Now THAT'S a deal I would do if the Yankees really do get Gagne. This way, you replace Proctor's spot in the 'pen with Gagne and call up Chamberlain to further upgrade the bullpen in a few weeks.

How has Gagne been this season?
Haven't really paid attention to him

I'm not even trying to be a dick, but do you actually browse Yankees fan sites about the latest rumors surrounding the team?
Honestly, that's not even where I read the rumor from. I've read about it on other blogs/ forums that they're still discussing the deal.

Red Sox site posted it, and like I said, I've had ESPN news on all night, plus I sent you Starks page, what else do you want?
Originally the Rangers ask for Ellsbury and Buchholz and Chamberlain and Hughes...now Clippard and a lower prospect?
Strange isnt it?

It's not strange at all...the Rangers know they aren't going to get Chamberlain, Hughes, Ellsbury or Bucholz so their price tag will drop as the deadline draws closer. It's the same scenario as with Bobby Abreu last year...the Phillies kept asking for Hughes, and within about 48 hours before the deadline they lowered their asking price.
I think Gagne will get moved, but we'll see what happens.
The stuff about Proctor rumored to be going back to the Dodgers is apparently true, though.

The Phillies played the Yankees against the Red Sox last year, the minute the Yankees said they'd eat the entire salary, Abreu was gone. So theres no comparison.
The Proctor deal has been rumored for awhile. But he wont go anywhere unless you guys get a reliever.

The Yankees were going to eat his salary all along. The original problem was the Phillies knew how desperate the Yankees were in May when we lost Matsui and Sheffield, so they were trying to rape us.
I agree about Proctor...the only way he gets moved is if Gagne or someone else gets traded to the Yankees. Even if we don't get anyone, though, I would still do the Proctor for Betemit deal.
