tampa and colorado should just find new homes imo, bad baseball markets To be fair, the fans have a right to not really care when it's pretty much a given every year that neither team is gonna make the playoffs( although I do think the Rockies have had a solid chance the last few years with good teams and a weak overall NL). I agree that Tampa is just a bad baseball market. So is Miami. It seems like the state of Florida could care less about baseball. But I don't think Denver is such a bad market for baseball. If they continue to improve, I think it could become one of the better markets in the NL within several years. |

Colorado had a rabid fan base, when they actually had a decent team. yeah but inagural excitement tends to wear off, and the rocks only made the playoffs once, 12 years ago. id rather have a baseball team in like, indy, nc, no, hell even san juan if it can be adequately supported. i personally would love to see another team come to the tri-state area, but then you'd really have problems with building a fanbase, tis a bad bad idea. |

heh i went to a minnesota/chicago game last year at the metrodome and felt really out of place being the only one in a sox hat, but i made sure to wear my ortiz jersey so when the people told me to  off i'd just wipe it in their faces about how they gave up on ortiz. |
