I can't stress how much I absolutely loath these new jerseys. The piping and mixed colors underneath the arms is what ruins all of them. If they all just kept the same format and switched to the new style, I think it would have been fine...what pisses me off is the fact that they're adding all these intellectually- disabled color schemes just for the hell of it.

The rumor is that Michael Peca wants to be a Sabre again. He said he will love to play for us again. Hopefully we can sign him since he is a good physical presence and can sometimes score.

What in the world is so good about Michael Peca? He's extremely injury prone and will likely get a large deal with the way the market has been this offseason. I guess Peca would be a good presence on Buffalo mainly for leadership, but still...who are Buffalo's 1st and 2nd line centers this year?

Peca will probably sign for $1.5-2 mil somewhere. I'd like to see the Leafs clear the room to re-sign him, but I don't see it happening. I'd love to have his penalty killing back. Once Peca got injured, the Leafs PK crapthe bed.

Peca is still a good defensive center... PK Specialist, good matchup guy. Don't count on him for much offense though. He is probably best suited as a third line center/pk man

Man these new jerseys.. I don't mind that they're more close-fitting at all, but the new designs are really dreadful.

I'm afraid to see what the Original 6 jerseys will look like. It's bad enough that any team is going for this new shitty 'modern' design look, but if any of the Original 6 is tampered with too much.. man. It'll be awful.

Yeah, I'm going to be pretty pissed if there's some red piping or any other lines on the Rangers' jerseys. The format of the jersey better be EXACTLY the same as it is now or fans are going to be outraged.
I don't think they'd be that stupid to screw around with any of the Original 6 jerseys. I thought I saw a picture of the Bruins' new jersey here and it looked fine to me.

Yeah, I forgot about the Bruins' new jerseys. They really do look classy.
I've said it tons of times, but I desperately want the Leafs to go back to the old Leaf. I've never liked the modern, Canadian flag leaf.

Again, it's the team's decision on whether to change the designs.
The most I can see the Rangers changing their uniforms would be adding the Lady Liberty logo was a shoulder patch. I doubt they'd want to lose a great logo like that, seeing how there won't be third jerseys.

Not surprisingly, the Yankees offered him a contract too.

Can't wait until we see Simon again so the Avery/ Hollweg/ Orr can unleash on that jerkoff for what he did to Hollweg last time. Also, I read this quote from another board. Apparently, someone did an interview with Lindy Ruff and this is what he had to say regarding the entire FA market: If that's true, then the Sabres only have themselves to blame for the way this offseason has gone for them. They should have locked Drury up in November when they had their chance. Oh, well. Their loss is our gain!
