So what's the deal with the Rangers salary cap now? Someone has got to be moved or sent down for Avery to be signed, right? According to NHLnumbers.com, the Rangers are currently $1.399 million over the cap space as of right now. Once Kasparaitas is released or sent back down to Hartford, that'll save the team about $3 million in cap space. Avery's arbitration hearing is scheduled for July 30th, and it's expected that he'll be rewarded about $2.5 million. The Rangers also need to sign Marcel Hossa, who's taking them to arbitration, as well. Unless someone is moved, it seems like they're only going to be able to afford one of them. |

 ing awesome. I was hoping for a modernized Sharks logo. I just hope the orange isn't incorporated into the jersey design. It would look pretty nasty having teal and orange stripes. bleh. But judging by the logo, there's no more grey. So it might end up being teal/orange..  |

IMO i think they should Sign Avery...Word on the street is they are thinkin of sendin Mara to the coyotes and maybe get jovenaski back in return(i heard it in other message boards)...the question is would u take that Deal......As for Avery we should take him rather then Hossa...Honestly wut has hossa done?

Mara's not that bad. The problem with him is that, like most of the other defenseman on the Rangers, he's extremely slow. He has a deadly shot from the point, though, and really helped the team last year after he was acquired.
The Rangers will sign Avery soon...

Well he looked really bad for the Bruins last year, his hometown team, but Jovanowski is better than him so why would the Coyotes or whomever do that deal?

Just because everything he reports doesn't happen, doesn't necessarily mean it's not true. Deals can easily fall through.

It's one thing to be wrong about a few trades because deals fell through...it's another thing to be a total liar about everything you report.
Honestly, all of the guy's rumors are nothing but his own speculations that he pulls out of his ass. He bases absolutely no actual fact on anything he reports at all.
