random but anyone else hear dice-k's prediction to why he was sick? basically he think he got sick because he sleeps on the floor on a futon type thing, and he breathed in germs.

ARod plans to hold a news conference, where he will announce that it wasn't cheating, since he was in a different area code.

So i was walking by Bryant Park because i thought Clemens was signing autographs with some other old Yankees, i came in full Clemens Astros gear knowing somebody would say something since every Yankee Fan is currently bitter and angry and being in last.
Some old guy yells at me
"Take that Shirt off ya Rooster!"
So i yell back
"ATLEAST WE ARENT IN LAST!!"
and he goes
"your right..."
and stops and turns back around
0wned lolz1!

Yankees GM Brian Cashman said Wednesday that Phil Hughes, out since May 1 with a hamstring injury, has a Grade 3 ankle sprain and will need 4-6 weeks of rehab time before he gets back on the mound. This after the Yankees said last week that an MRI came back negative and he'd only be backed up a few days. No one should have counting on seeing Hughes back in pinstripes before the All-Star break anyway.

Yeah, I read that earlier today. I didn't think we had enough bad news yet this season, so I'm glad it keeps piling on. The only plus from all of this is the fact that luckily, it's not like he blew his arm out or anything.

Probably saves the Yankees from over using Hughes arm this year, so its probably a good thing in the long run
