Apparently not. This is like the worst contract year I have ever seen anyone have. Mark Mulder calling... Jones will still make a ton of money anyway.

Jones will get his avg up... its not like he has always been a high average hitter anyway, he is a .265 average guy for his career Andruw Jones is 30 years old with 350 HR and almost 1600 hits... he has 9 gold gloves, its safe to say his ticket to cooperstown is about 75% punched already. I've never been a huge fan of his, but there aren't that many centerfielders I'd take over him.

I'm gonna get **** on for saying this, but I think the Yankees are just about cooked in terms of the AL East. They're 14.5 games back( really 15.5 when you factor in that Boston is leading the season series 6-3), and are only getting worse, while the Red Sox just can't be stopped. I'm not saying that the Sox have the World Series won or anything( I still don't think we make it that far), but I DO think we've pretty much won the division.

Mark Mulders arm fell off during his contract year, Andruw Jones thinks its 2009 he becomes a FA.

I have withheld from bitching about the Cardinals at all this season because I didn't think it was fair, since they are the defending champions and all. But this season is not just bad-- it's a total disaster. We're talking 90 loss territory, or worse. The cardinals are dead last in the league in: Runs scored (by a long shot) Home runs Extra base hits Total bases Stolen bases Earned run average and 2nd to last in total hits. The starting rotation currently is made up of four guys who were relievers last season (Looper, Wainwright, Thompson and Wellemeyer), and only Looper, who's been okay, has pitched anywhere close to mediocre. The 5th guy is Kip Wells who's on pace for 20+ losses and looks totally lost. The best hitter on the entire team is Adam Wainwright with a .294 average. Only four regulars are even batting better than .270, and one of them is Yadier Molina who is now out 6-8 weeks with a broken wrist. It's officially past the point where I am now allowing myself to bitch about this team even though they should get a one year grace period. The truth is the front office ed over all the fans by letting the entire rotation go and filling in the holes in the pitching staff and lineup with pure shit. The new stadium was promised to bring in more revenue for payroll, they sell out every game then win a friggin World Series on top of it and still put out the shitty team that they did. God damn

I still say A-Rod comes back to New York, but whatever. I don't care what bitches he's banging if he goes 5-5 tonight and we win.

He got stalked by this guy in the New York Post..followed all through Toronto, into the Hotel, up the elevator.
Classy, I'd def want to play in a city that does that.

There's media in every city A-Rod's going to play in. If you don't want to get caught cheating, don't cheat. It doesn't make a difference if he does it as a member of the Yankees or the Angels. When you're the highest paid player in the game, the media is always going to be after you. If A-Rod does opt out, I still say he comes back.
