My wife's work. Three easy changes that should have been included on these figures. Vest for Austin, belt for Kane, and Gloves for Goldberg. Now if only someone could give the guy teeth smh Damn those are amazing! Great job!

Thanks! Cold weather weekends come in handy. I want to do an Attitude Era tag team division next.

Man these are so cool; I really look forward to each time this thread gets updated!
That jumper, although the action is my least favourite, looks like it lends itself really well for a Macho Elbow drop!
And I love those hasbro Diesels - would you ever consider making one to order? (I have a manix head)

I’m loving the Diesel ones. I was hoping to find an extra Dean Ambrose figure at Walmart to make an NWO Kevin Nash with an old WCW figure I have. But they’re getting harder to find in stores now unfortunately. I just got my wrestling shelf set up in my man cave for all my Hasbros. All my customs so far are on the top shelf. That Randy Savage jumper is really cool too

Holy Jesus. I love that Macho Man. Take notice Mattel, that's how you make a Macho Man retro. And that's how you make good use of the jumper mold. And that's the type of colors they should be using.

Finally got started with some retro customs of my own! I’ll post some early WIP pics here, but if this is highjacking the thread I can start a new one. First up Haku. Head is a slightly different colour, so probably need to paint. As well as remove elbow pads & paint tights & wrist/finger tape. I’m also trying to decide whether to try to sand/mold feet, or cut some off of another figure & try to attach them somehow... Second, The King Harley Race. For now this is the best body for me (unless a thicker torso is released). So just need to paint purple trunks/boots etc Goldberg. I really liked the press slam custom earlier in the thread, but thought I’d give this a go as it works for doing the Jackhammer. I tried replacing his tattoo arm with the one from his jumper figure to save me having to paint it - but it doesn’t fit quite right. So I’ll tinker some more. Bad News Brown. Not really that enthusiastic about this at the moment. The Jakks head isn’t great, & I’d much rather have fists - so may try cutting hands off & attaching fists from another figure. But I’m new to this so don’t really know where to start. And finally, the Mighty Hercules. This ones probably my favourite. Minimal painting other than tape & boots white. I’d always imagined a Herc hasbro to have the press slam; but I feel this action works well. It does a Herc staple, clothesline. It can do his part of the Power & Glory finisher, superplex. And finally, the torturerack back breaker! The clothesline movement actually works pretty well simulating this move.

Sorry if I missed it elsewhere, but what's the best way to pop apart bodies on these? I just need to pop off some arms temporarily to make some changes.

I go with submerging figure in measuring cup of water that's been heated 3-4 minutes headfirst. Keep it in there for a minute. Have an alternating cup heated in microwave. Look for area with widest gap on torso, alternate with box cutter. Go deep then carefully wedge and work along length of gap. It's a judgment call here on technique, but dont pry hard. You'll smash the plastic at the edge and it'll look like crap.

I figured out if I put both arms up I can get the coat over them, just like how I put my own clothes on lol.

I want to out the shirt on and trim the length. Retro Stars on Twitter told me to cut the shirt down the seam on the side, then use another piece of flat plastic to use as a bridge to close the shirt up with glue. We'll see how it goes!

That sounds like another cool project. I don't want to re-quote all the photos above, but great customs showbiz. I think my favorite is the 95' Shawn. I always thought the Macho King body would be perfect for Shawn, but now the AJ is even better with the way his boots are done.

Bought the Hasbro head alone on Ebay. I noticed that a bunch of people tried making the prototype, so I aimed to add a different twist to it. My thought was if Hasbro made Series 12, 13, 14, etc., what kind of HBK would we have, so I went with 1995 Royal Rumble. Seemed like it bridges that missing era between the Hasbros and Retros.
