Kristen Wiig as Cheetah gets my initial reaction of thinking that has to be one of the absolute worst castings in comic book movie history. Eisenberg as Luthor takes that all day every day, but this has potential to take second. |

Wiig as Cheetah? Strange but I wont write her off because I like to give these things a chance. Now Ill freely admit I was adamant GG wouldn't be a good WW. But she was good in the role.
Also on DCs casting choices? there's tons to me they miscast. Eisenberg/Luthor, Miller/Flash, Smith/Deadshot, Lane/Ma Kent
BUT more they have got spot on.....

Finally watched Justice League as I had a $10 bonus check so I got the blu-ray for free.
Uh, jikes. That was something. I think I'd rather watch Batman & Robin 5 times rather than watch Justice League once.
I mean honestly, the only redeeming quality of that entire movie was the 2 second clip of Deathstroke walking up the stairs of the yacht.
I want DC do to great things because they have some of my favorite characters. But they are absolutely brutal to watch at the moment.

I guess my thread can be moved here. This is bad. It’s really not hard to cast comic films and shows considering the characters are already designed for you with specific looks. I don’t get what directors try to be edgy and cast diverse. It just ruins the aura of the show and the characters you were expecting to see come to life

I am 36 years old and have been waiting for over two decades for a live action Teen Titans and this is what they do? I mean the show could be great to be fair, but as of right now Starfire is one of the worst comic book to live action adaptations I have seen, what on earth were they thinking? I guess you got to have that diverse cast these days, no matter if they look nothing like who they are supposed to be!
Jesus Christ, I really cannot get over how that Starfire got past any kind of approval process!

If you had told me back in 2008 that the two DC movies I'd be looking forward to the most over the next decade would be the ones starring Aquaman and Shazam (or Captain Marvel if ya nasty), I'd have thought you were hugging with me.

Wow both Aquaman and Shazam! look really good. Never thought I would say I would be interested in either of them.

Really liking both trailers, but I definitely didn't expect to like the Shazam trailer as much as I did. I can definitely see why they cast Levi in the role now. Both movies look like a hell of a lot of fun. Fingers crossed both films get Wonder Woman praise and that this sets the DCEU on the right course moving forward. I hope in a few years time after these heroes are more established and the Flash movie finally sees the light of day, that WB gives Justice League 2 the green light. It'd be a shame if that was the only time these characters shared the screen together.

Wonder Woman 84 footage was shown, according to Patty Jenkins "Wonder Woman 1984 is not a sequel" and is instead a whole new movie which is a standalone tale due to not wanting to just "keep it going." Explaining that she's making a completely different sort of film to Wonder Woman, the filmmaker made it clear that it's not "more of anything" and is its own thing.

I need it too PJ BADLY!!!! I always had a feeling that Aquaman would turn out well with Wan at the helm. Especially when he stood his ground with WB and walked out that time. Shazam looks good.....but I'm still quite wary of how the entire movie will turn out. Jenkins statement about WW 1984 is a puzzler for sure....LOL |
