I'm in the "that was boring" camp for the season finale. Looked like they were treading water between the real season finale last week and whatever is to come next season. There were two high points for me: - Negan being the ONLY one to go after Judith and the slow progression to somewhat of a good guy even though he will always be the one who pushes the buttons of everyone around him (the father not father - lol). - The voice on the radio. TWD writers and producers as well as all the speculators can dance around it all they want, that was obviously a teaser for the Commonwealth. Now we have the two month wait until FTWD season 5. I wonder if they will do a time jump on FTWD as well to keep it in the same time frame as TWD. I was never a huge fan of FTWD through the first three seasons. I pretty much watched just to see which character I hated more would bite it. Season 4 changed it for me. They introduced better characters that I actually like and left what happens in season 5 completely up in the air. Did they thrive as the providers of a safe haven for survivors? Did they run into a Negan or Alpha of their own who made life miserable? This is honestly the first time I'm looking forward to FTWD. The only thing entertaining about that episode last night was negan. Everything else just bored me to almost passing out.

In case you haven't seen it yet, the FTWD Season 5 trailer is out: Its gonna be so nice to finally have Dwight back. I really enjoyed him on TWD and wanted him to have his comic role but I'm happy with this if its the only way we get him .

Really good episode this week. I'm glad they had Alpha pushing Daryl to his limits, she never seemed like the big bad like The Governor or Negan but after this episode I changed my mind.

With how the first two deaths played out last night, I was thinking about how they don't seem to get outside the box anymore, don't take a sudden turn and transport us to a new, exciting, unforeseen outcome.
Then the chaser after the Alpha scene happened...

One of the best episodes ever imo. Judith,Earl,Negan,Daryl,Gamma,Lydia,Carol,Alpha,Aaron and Magna all had great performances. I knew the spoilers before I watched the episode and almost everything still felt exciting. All the things that happen in the episode and nothing felt rushed besides maybe the last scene.

The mid season stuff absolutely killed this show for me not long after Negan showed up. I’m trying to get back into it

I won't forgive Maggie that easily. Her stubbornness starved the Sanctuary, allowed valuable members repentant from the Sanctuary to die in vengeance, and contributed to the wedge between Rick and Darrell that nearly got them both killed, then at the end she decided Rick was right all along.

Nice start to these couple extra episodes. So nice having Maggie back and it was awesome seeing little Glenn(Herschel). Didn't like the unmasked guy with Maggie but the masked guy looked so cool and seems like gonna be a good character. I guess this Pope person gonna be the villain of these couple episodes until we get to the CW.

This past week's Daryl/Carol 2 ep is probably my least favorite of the entire flagship run. Rather would have seen some light-hearted segments featuring more characters in their everyday lives. Maybe protocols or logistics prevented filming a touch-base ep but we didn't need another focus on their relationship (or a tease for their upcoming spin-off).
Read a while back about Breaking Bad having on particular ep skipped by those who are otherwise completionists. Could easily apply here.

This past week's Daryl/Carol 2 ep is probably my least favorite of the entire flagship run. The episode before this one with Princess is up there,I don't know which one I liked least. I love the show and will continue to watch till the end but these last couple episodes have been really rough. I get the Covid restrictions are a huge reason why but still gonna leave a bad taste in some people's mouths. I enjoyed the CW part in the comics probably more then most so I'm hoping it works out on the show and the final season gets back on track and everybody remembers the show in a good light. I'm glad they finishing the season out with the Here's Negan episode that's the one I been most excited for,its gonna be nice have him and Hilarie on screen together.

Here's Negan made me feel all the feels. Nice cameo from one of my favorite Saviors. Negan continues to be a major highlight of the show.

I been looking forward to this episode for couple years and it didn't let me down. Everything was incredible the hour and 15 minutes flew by. I've been a big fan of JDM and Hilarie for years now and it was so much fun seeing them on screen together in TWD universe btw Hilarie was awesome in the role of Lucille. I know they have couple spin offs coming but I would love a show of Negan(and maybe Judith).

The Negan episode was one of the best in a LONG time with TWD. I have to go back and check, but I think when Lucille drove off from finding out she had cancer and turned off the news and heavy metal was playing, I swear the song was 45 Grave's "Party Time" from Return of the Living Dead.
