Lets your votes be heard. It's plain and simple.
Who was the better wrestler and why?

Macho Man-Savage had some quality feuds in his time.
his feuds with Steamboat and Hogan are still the tops.

Savage by far the better wrestler, but Warrior was more over than Savage when both were at their peaks IMO. Warrior in 89/90 was crzy over, rivalling Hulk for No.1 face spot.

Oh, Macho Man for sure. He had many more classic matches than The Warrior. And as pointed out in The Self Destruction of Ultimate Warrior DVD, he was a sloppy and dangerous worker and lots of guys didn't like being around him, let alone working with him. But there are those that did like Warrior, but as far as the better wrestler, no question, Randy Savage.

I have to add when I was young I loved Warrior and still love some of his moments and always get his figures.
but who was the better worker is never in doubt.

Macho Man, without question. Savage was a great athlete. Warrior was an uncoordinated musclehead.

Ultimate Warrior is my all time favorite wrestler, but Macho Man is obviously the better of the two....

LMAO... I would NOT want to be Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.....
There is no denying that when it came to promos Savage and Warrior were both the most entertaining imo

Savage by far the better wrestler, but Warrior was more over than Savage when both were at their peaks IMO. Warrior in 89/90 was crzy over, rivalling Hulk for No.1 face spot. But in 87/88 Savage's popularity rivaled Hogan's, despite the fact that he was heel at the start of that trend. After his face turn his popularity was astronomical and could have stayed as high as Hogan's had he not turned heel again. But to answer the question at hand... Savage was the much better wrestler. The fact that he was one of the very few to get a great match out of Warrior says something.

I agree Savage was over big time in 87/88, but never came close to overtaking Hogan as king babyface, thats why Savage was asked to turn cos he was lesser of the 2 babyfaces. Hulk was never ever considered to turn heel by Vince in 1989. Warrior was joint No.1 face in 1990, thats why Vince put him clean over Hogan at WM6. Vince thought he'd found Hulk's successor. Obviously not though.

As a kid I loved the Warrior and I still get a kick out of watching him today for nostalgia I guess. But Savage is one of my all time favorites and even though its a matter of opinion...I think its a one-sided one.

I think that in terms of overness, Warrior was a lot more over, despite it seemed like he couldn't even talk properly, or talk at all.
