The Road Warriors "blew up" in the ring so did Davy Boy Smith does the IWC rag on them like they rag on Warrior??? People just look for reasons to hate on the guy and people saying Warrior was a steroid abuser Savage took steroids as well as did Flair. Yes, Davey 'roided, but he was also far more athletic than Warrior. Bulldog put on a better performance at SummerSlam '92 than Warrior ever did in his entire career. You mean the match that Bret Hart said Davey Boy "blew up" and forgot everything they were suppose to do minutes after the match and had to carry his ass. Remember the spot where Davey Boy almost decapitated bret hard? Warrior wasn't a great technical wrestler by any means, but he always stepped up and put on a decent if not above average match when it counted. Warrior definitely gets crapped on a lot more then most guys by the IWC. I guess it's because everybody's favorite wrestler dogs the warrior and because I love ric flair or bret hart and they say warrior sucked then he must of never of had a good match.

I don't know why, nobody ever mentions Randy Savage as "Greatest Wrestler of All Time"? You could really make a strong argument that he was. I know he didn't wrestle as long as Flair and didn't have the support of the WWE as long as HBK did. I never hear his name in the conversation. That's a mistake imo.

DBS could work harder for longer than Warrior could on his best day. Davey was tired at the end of his SS '92 match but he had a reason to be so given the output. As for Warrior, he rarely "stepped up" at all. I can only think of 4 decent-to-good matches he had in all of his WWF runs. Usually, he was just unfettered energy that resulted in poor execution. The guy had a great body but he was not a natural athlete. His timing and dexterity were very poor.

You are spot on and yes people bandwagon for years the IWC hated on Bob Backland mainly because Meltzer didnt like him, Backland turns heel in the mid 90s all the sudden Meltzer liked Backland and the IWC lemmings follow suit it must suck not being able to think for one's self

I strongly disliked him as a babyface and I absolutely loathed him as a heel. His mispronouncing/misusing words in promos made me want to jam a screwdriver in my ear. Do you remember that segment where Backlund interviewed the Iron Sheik in the ring? JR put it perfectly," This interview needs to be closed captioned."

I agree with your last sentence.
"unfettered energy that resulted in poor execution." I would argue it wasn't poor execution because the intended result was what we got. Warrior's gimmick wasn't suppose to be a mat technician.
We can agree the following were above average matches and likely his best 4?
SummerSlam 1989 vs Rude Wrestlemania VI vs Hogan Wrestlemania VII vs Savage SummerSlam 1992 vs Savage
Decent... Wrestlemania V vs Rude (SNME and SS 90), and his matches with Slaughter, Dibiase, and Perfect (1990). As well as many multi man matches.
It's what you define as "decent." Remember, the work rate and style in that era is different from today's.

Kurt Angle did the heartless, brutal technician persona well in '06. Backlund came off like Eugene. Also, Backlund's workrate is highly overrated. Like so many other NCAA wrestlers who "went pro", Backlund essentially tried to fake a freestyle match each time with extended rest holds. He had the *occasional* decent hold exchange but the guy should have NEVER been anything but a curtain jerker.

Maybe if his bowtie released poison gas or something he would have been more interesting?

Savage, easily. Savage had a longer much more lucrative career. He could have great matches with anyone you put against him. Both were insane on the mic, but Savage was controlled insanity and could tell a story that kept you captivated and entertained, and transitioned well to color commentary. Savage owns Warrior in pretty much every way you can think of when it comes to wrestling.
