Overall thoughts: An EPIC pay-per-view, glad I ordered it, first since 2005 Would've liked Booker to win though. Diesel was EPIC also.

1. Diesel 2. Santino at the end. thats all I can say really. Booker T am I the only one who was shocked that both of the 2 Cena/Orton staredowns got NO reaction from the crowd? I didn't really notice, but my brother pointed it out. Quite funny really.

Nope. Not gonna stop. So get used to that. You guys want to blab how good this Del Rio guy is?? Then I'm going to voice MY opinion on why he sucks and isn't ready for that main event WrestleMania spot. Deal with it. Why do you continue to watch WWE? Every ing show, you are on here complaining about how you don't like, how demolition didn't show up and squash the roster. Everything WWE does, all you ing do is complain. If all you do is complain, then why watch the ing product? Jesus ing christ

The thing is, no offence, the WWE's target market isn't chubby middle aged men anymore. Heck, the Diesel return - that was probably for you, but in the bigger picture, he meant very little. The target audience, they don't care about the potential history behind an Edge and Christian feud, or the impact of Sting coming to the company. They like Orton and Cena, because these are the guys kicking ass right now. It's a simple enough concept to understand. Miz is now a big name to younger fans, he's gained a significant amount of heat. Del Rio has too, and it'll only continue to grow. You're acting like there's no room for stars to break through, because they're relatively unknown. But there's always room to break out if management's behind you enough. If it was someone like Mason Ryan, I'd understand. The guy's a total bore right now, and according to dirtsheets, doesn't even believe in his own ability. But Del Rio has the goods. I can't wait, because this is the start of what is almost certain to be one of the most illustrious careers in this decade of the WWE! If you don't think it compares to the days of X or Y, then whatever. You're posting in this thread though, I assume you saw the PPV, or at the very least are watching WWE regularly - in that case they (the WWE) have got what they want.

Wait, Del Rio would need to be carried in the match yet you wanted SANTINO to main event? Seriously? Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never said I wanted Santino to win the Rumble. I was saying I would rather have Santino ing Marella (A comedy act wrestler) over Cena, Orton, Barrett, or ADR. You said you didn't want Santino to win but that you would rather him win that the other guys in the ring? That means you rather him win means out of those guys you wanted him to win. Stop playing semantics, that is what you said.

Oh, almost forgot. I loved the DB, Punk, DiBiase, Regal, Ryder (even though I don't usually care for him), etc. beginning of the RR. Some solid stuff in there between those guys.

I love Del Rio, [glow=red,2,300]but I do believe he might of gotten pushed a little too fast[/glow]. Wow!!! Could it be that SOMEONE out there actually agrees with me?? I can't ing believe it. Hell has frozen over I do believe. LOL. ;D Seriously though, I completely agree. Pushed too hard, too fast. As you said, the guy hasn't even held a singles belt yet and already he's gonna be main-eventing WrestleMania?? Nah, nah. Don't think so. I seriously doubt he'll make it to the main event at WrestleMania. He'll lose his #1 spot along the way. Someone like 'Taker, HHH or Christian will beat him for it.

I would have liked to see Punk, Ziggler, Morrison, or Kingston win. But yes once it got down to those 4 guys. I would have preferred Santino.. But that's the whole point. Santino sucks and I would rather have him then those 4.

Miz & Del Rio aren't even worthy to headline Sunday Night Heat, let alone a WrestleMania. LOL. So you're saying that Del Rio IS going to headline Mania... I thought you'd put money down that he'd lose his spot. God, just ignore that guy, there are actual intelligent people who don't like what happened, please don't think this is how we all think. am I the only one who was shocked that both of the 2 Cena/Orton staredowns got NO reaction from the crowd? That was one problem I had with the finish, NOBODY wanted to see Cena or Orton win. They should have had a hot face that the crowd was behind for Del Rio to eliminate last, it could have gotten him mega heat. Maybe Morrison, he got a pretty good pop for his entrance.

Boston crowds are brutally honest and I think they were simply making it clear that that match means nothing anymore. It's been done to absolute death.

Old School, what did you think about Taker winning the belt the first time? I mean he was only in the company for a year and he went and beat HULK ING HOGAN. He hadn't won a belt before then, so what the hell?

A lot of people agreed with you from the start, including myself, but then you went a little radical. I like Del Rio, a lot, actually, and I'm all for pushing new stars. I just think Del Rio is too much too fast. You mad an incredibly valid point with Sheamus and Jack Swagger. Both of those guys are incredibly talented and their careers are suffering because of poor booking decisions that involved rushed title runs. Much more so with Sheamus than Swagger, who was ready for the title but simply wasn't built into it at all. I just would have preferred to see Del Rio compete in Money in the Bank or something this year and win that. There are other guys that WWE has obvious stock in that are HUGELY over with the crowd that I think would have been the better choice, Morrison being the biggest. Aside from Booker T and Kevin Nash, I think Morrison got the biggest pop during the Rumble. That says something.
