Predictions:
Dolph def. Kofi to retain the IC title
Melina def. Alicia to win the Divas title
Big Show def. Straight Edge Society
Kane def. Rey to retain the World title then Taker returns and reveals Kane was the one who attacked him
Orton def. Sheamus to win the WWE title then Miz cashes in his MITB after the match. Orton gets a quick win over Miz to retain the title.
Vince returns as the 7th man on Team WWE. Vince screws Cena/Bret giving the Nexus the win. Vince reveals he was behind the Nexus all along.
I don't want most of that to happen but I've got a feeling something similar to that will go down.

Predictions----- Dolph Ziggler def. Kofi Kingston to retain the title. Big Show def. SES by DQ. I bet they will all gang up on him and attack him again starting a major feud. Melina def. Alicia Fox-New Divas Champ! Cena asks Miz to be on the team and Miz says NO. Kane def. Rey Mysterio. After the match the lights go out and Taker chokeslams Kane. Orton def. Sheamus. New champ! Miz tries to cash in, but Sheamus kicks him in the face. Vince is revealed as 7th member. Nexus def. Team "WWE". They eliminate every member of WWE and it comes down to Bret, Cena, McMahon. While Nexus distracts the ref Otunga pokes Cena in the eye and sets him up for his finisher and it connects. Now Barrett picks him up for Wasteland. Now a 450 Splash. Cena's eliminated. McMahon goes to tag Bret in, but Bret drops down from the ring. Nexus eliminates Vince. Now it's just Bret! Bret rolls into the ring and lies down. Barrett covers him. Bret is the traitor. OR.......Bret and Vince are the last in the ring, now Bret pulls off his Batman shirt to reveal he is wearing a Nexus shirt!!!!!!
I guarentee he is the traitor. He could have faked another car accident just like around WM26

I may have said it already...and if I have, I'm sorry, but it bears repeating... ...why the hell isn't Rey vs. Kane a Casket Match? Because when they will use that for when Undertaker returns.

*Ziggler defends IC title against Kingston. *Alicia beats Melina to retain the Divas Championship. *Big Show defeats Straight Edge Society. *Kane defends WHT against Rey [Undertaker returns duh... ]. *Orton wins WWE Title from Sheamus [Miz either loses or is stopped from cashing in again]. *Nexus wins over team WWE; [who knows who traitors..?]. Just in case more matches are added: ***If a US title match is made then I see Miz losing. ***If a Unified Tag Title match is made I see the champs retaining.

What? 6 matchs? this is pretty bad, They will probably add a few random matchs in there, but this ppv wasnt really built up really good imo apart from the main events.

I often enjoy Fantasy Booking PPVs, so here's my go at Summerslam. Do I think this is what will ultimately go down? Probably not, but it's fun nonetheless.
Dark Match Evan Bourne defeats Ted Dibiase.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston Kicking off the show with the only logical opener. Ziggler retains with help from Vickie. Kofi goes apecrapafterwards.
A promo recapping the events of Summerslam Axxess is shown.
Alicia Fox vs. Melina Melina wins, because A.) she's returning from an injury, which is WWE-speak for a guaranteed title win, B.) no one gives a damn about Alicia Fox, and C.) otherwise this is going to be a show heavy on heel victories.
Backstage: Josh Matthews interviews Sheamus while Miz is standing a few feet away. He reminds Sheamus that he is always watching.
Backstage: Jack Swagger storms into Teddy Long's office and demands to know why he, a former World Champion, isn't featured on the show. Teddy tells him to put his gear on, because he's going to be in action tonight.
Big Show vs. Straight Edge Society Big Show wins (for the same reason (C) that Melina won), and the Straight Edge Society argues after the match.
Bonus Six Man Tag Match Christian, Matt Hardy, and MVP vs. Jack Swagger, Cody Rhodes, and Drew McIntyre The faces pick up the victory because in a no-hype match like this, there's no reason for them not to.
WWE Championship Sheamus vs. Orton Sheamus retains, via a win that's probably not entirely clean. Miz gets involved somewhat during the match, but is more of a distracting presence. At one point, Orton slides out of the ring and takes him out. When he gets back in the ring, Sheamus gets the upper hand and wins the match. Miz starts to come to, but Sheamus runs away before he can cash in. (Technically, Miz could order him back if he really wanted the match right now, but this is WWE logic here.) Orton and Miz argue back and forth, each blaming the other for their missed opportunity. Orton tries to RKO Miz for the millionth time this month, but Miz avoids it and hits the Skull Crushing Finale on the briefcase.
Backstage: Team Cena passes Miz. They ask if he's in or out. He asks if they just saw what happened out there. His dream of becoming WWE Champ on this night was ruined thanks to Randy Orton. So no. He's not in. Cena and/or Bret tries to talk some sense into him, telling him that this isn't about him; it's more than that; it's about the future of Raw. He scoffs and tells them all to go screw themselves, but does so in a PG fashion. Cena looks pissed because they're out of options. It looks like the match is going to be 7 on 6.
World Heavyweight Championship Kane vs. Rey Mysterio Kane wins decisively, followed by either a full-blown Undertaker return or some screwy "supernatural" occurence in the arena.
Team Cena vs. Nexus Nexus makes their way to the ring first, followed by the six members of Team Cena one by one. The two teams are standing in the ring, face to face, ready to square off, when an email arrives from the anonymous GM. He says that he booked a 7 on 7 match, and that's what we're going to get. He says that John Cena can thank him later, because he found a seventh teammate. Michael Cole looks disgusted as he reads the name: Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring to a hopefully decent ovation. Several members of Nexus flip out, but Wade Barrett tries to calm them down, assuring them that they've still got this in the bag. The final four are Barrett/Sheffield vs. Cena/Bryan. Cena locks Sheffield in the STFU and he taps out. It's now 2 on 1 and Barrett is reluctant to get in the ring. Bryan begs Cena to tag him in, and the commentators hype how this has been a long time coming; Bryan finally gets his hands on the man that kicked him out of the group months ago. But Bryan attacks Cena. Barrett stands off to the side while Bryan does the damage, then they both smile and shake hands. Bryan exits the ring slowly and gets himself counted out. Cena is now the legal man by default. Barrett delivers his finisher and covers him to pick up the victory. All of Nexus comes back out to celebrate over Cena's fallen body to end the show.

I typically love Summerslam, there's usually a few matches I really want to see but this has zero. I think the WWE has done a good job as of late building up some of the storylines but I can't see there being any great matches in this whole event. IT's not really coming across like the second biggest PPV of the year.

I'm guessing that Kane destroys Rey, and retains. But after the match, Kane wants to try and put Rey in the casket, but when Kane opens it.......BOOM! The Undertaker sits up and gives Kane that stare before beating him down. And Rey runs away like the little coward that he truly is.
Just my thoughts.

I don't expect an Undertaker return, a Miz cash in (and loss), or Vince being the 7th WWE team member... or Vince turning on team WWE. But I want all of that. So badly.

I cant say I particularly expect this summerslam to be as good as the last 2, purely based on the strength of the main events. just look at it, this years main event is a couple of big stars in a team with 2 or 3 mid carders against a team of 7 total no-names, only 2 really have half decent ring ability. put this against last years punk vs hardy in a tlc match or even the 2 semi main events of cena vs orton and dx vs legacy, never mind 2008's main event of taker vs edge in hell in a cell. this years main event flat out pales in comparison. having said that, the rest of the card looks decent (excluding big show vs SES which will probably just degrade to a 3 minute segment to further their rivalry) as we all know orton/sheamus, rey/kane and dolph/kofi are all capable of having good matches with each other. in the end, this summerslam all comes down to whether the rest of the card puts in that extra effort to put on better matches than they've ever had before with each other (i've just noticed orton/sheamus, rey/kane and kofi/ziggler have all happened before) all in all, this ppv has potential to be very good, but it all depends on individual performances.
i'm expecting: ziggler to retain kane to retain (no taker) sheamus to retain (probably not clean) SES to get disqualified Nexus to win (someone in team wwe will turn.)

Ziggler over Kofi Melina over Fox Show over SES (ugh) Sheamus over Orton Kane over Rey (Undertaker, etc.) Nexus over Raw
I'm really trying to think of how they can work a Raw team member turning on the team and not have it be completely stupid and nonsensical.

I like how everyone always thinks something awesome is going to happen, and then it just turns out HHH is the mystery man and kills nexus.

I usually never say a PPV needs a gimmick match.... but this PPV is missing a Gimmick match. 2009: Jeff/Punk TLC, 2008: Undertaker/Edge HIAC, 2006: Flair/Foley I Quit and Sabu/Big Show Extreme Rules, 2005: Batista/JBL No Holds Barred and Rey/Eddie Ladder Match.
2007 didnt have one and that PPV was pretty bad. Not excited for the two title matches, only match I'm really looking forward to is the Nexus/WWE match. Still awaiting Christian/Cody/Matt/Drew to be announced. Hopefully during the event it will be, like Jeff/MVP in 2008.
