I don't remember Piven's exact ruling but isn't Miz technically banned from the event?

I don't remember Piven's exact ruling but isn't Miz technically banned from the event? Imagine the fun that would ensue with The Miz-haters if he cashes in MITB and wins the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, a PPV he's "banned" from.

I believe Miz's firing superceded being banned from Summerslam...therefore when the Calgary Kid won his Raw contract, the Summerslam ban was no longer applicable.

Reasons like that you're the (co-)WWE Mod. Believe it or not, I actually stole the logic from TNA...it's how they explained away the ban on Triple X teaming together. Shockingly, for wrestling logic (especially TNA logic), it made a fair amount of sense.

This SummerFest should be pretty good

Orton v Sheamus should be decent.
Didn't they wrestle at the Rumble?
If so I think that match was good.
But hopefully some good matches get on the card.

Man, they'd better have some thing spec- ing-tacular planned for Bourne since he wasn't included on Cena's team, despite the fact he was one of the only guys who kept coming to Cena's aid. Truth and Khali don't belong, so hopefully they'll get minimal attention. Maybe have Bourne/Miz and maybe Dibiase in a match for the US Title.

I have a feeling they'll work much better together this time now that Sheamus has a little more confidence behind himself, and Orton is fully face instead of a tweener.

I kinda get the impression that Sheamus/Orton won't be a very long program, it's just a way to transition the title to either Orton or Miz and won't really be a major 'focus' on SummerSlam. Think CM Punk vs. JBL or hell, HHH vs. Khali, from two years ago.

Why are Khali and Truth on the team, just makes it worse. And then you got Bret. Who should be managing the team, not wrestling.

I thought we'd have seen an Orton/Miz feud.

Probably going to just read the results. So far there is nothing special about the PPV.

I think Bret & Khali will be replaced.
Bret can't wrestle anymore... unless they just use him for a Sharpshooter to end the match, he's completely pointless to have there.
Khali will just slow down the entire match. Maybe they just put him there temporarily and he will just get beat down and "injured" on an episode of RAW to show how tough Nexus is... taking out a giant.
I think HHH will replace one of these two. The other replacement? Probably Evan Bourne.
I don't really see why people are saying R-Truth doesn't fit in to be honest.
I also think 1 of 7 (HHH?) from Cena's team will turn and join Nexus. Seems too early to put an end to Nexus, in my opinion.

I really, really hope the put the Belt on Orton at Summerslam. He needs to win the Title now, if not, it will probably ruin everything he's got going for him.
I'm convinced Miz will cash in at Hell in the Cell.
I also don't think Cena will turn Heel at Summerslam. Maybe if it was an Elimination Match, he could do an Austin at Invasion 2001, but it wont happen. It will simply end with Team Cena standing in the Ring with their arms raised. It will pretty much end the Nexus.
