Currently... The British Bulldogs 4.65 % 9265 Votes Demolition 16.13 % 32119 Votes Edge and Christian 27.77 % 55291 Votes The Hart Foundation 32.44 % 64593 Votes The Road Warriors 7.12 % 14185 Votes Show-Miz 11.86 % 23622 Votes The fact that Shomiz = LOD and The Bulldogs combined, I think it's more, is still sad.

Sad isn't a strong enough word. I can slightly understand why LOD is low, as they had more success outside of the WWE/F. But they are one of the best tag teams ever. Each team on that list was a great team (except Show-Miz). Someone said it best before, each generation has it's own "Best Ever". Ignorance from the current little kid fans is something we can't stop. All we can do is kick back, pop our tapes in, and listen to the likes of Heenan, Monsoon, Schiavone, Hayes, and anyone else who has called matches we enjoy.

ShowMiz ing blows. [Even though I'm a fan of them both] They shouldn't of ever formed in the first place. Hell, they shouldn't even be a part of this poll.

I don't think fans nowadays understand what a good Tag-Team is. Show-Miz shouldn't even be in the top fifty. The current results... The British Bulldogs 5.27 % 13946 Votes Demolition 13.03 % 34483 Votes Edge and Christian 34.14 % 90327 Votes The Hart Foundation 30.02 % 79433 Votes The Road Warriors 7.39 % 19569 Votes Show-Miz 10.12 % 26782 VotesOut of these choices I would say it should be... 1) Road Warriors 2) Demolition 3) Hart Foundation 4) Edge & Christian 5) Bulldogs 6) Showmiz it pains me to put the Bulldogs so low, but they only had one reign.

Marino, you said it as it is. They don't understand what a good tag team is. They have teams of random guys tossed together that don't even mesh together. The Tag Titles are now just a joke. I remember when there used to be actual fueds for the straps.

We need to think of it like this: classic changes after some years. In 10 years, we'll be thinking of matches like HHH vs Benoit vs HBK and HBK vs Taker at WM as classics. Classic fans will never go extinct. Maybe knowlegable fans of different eras will go extinct, but for now, we are safe.

Well that's the way it goes I'm afraid.
When I got into wrestling back in the late 80's/Early 90's I was interested in finding out what had gone on before & discovered loads of stuff & famous wrestlers/ matches. Seems not every new fan nowadays has the same desire.
However to switch this a bit bear in mind we are mentioning all the Classic treams we might have grown up watching.
By all accounts Ray Stevens & Pat Patterson was as good as tag wrestling got but just like current fans ignore the Harts or Bulldogs for ShowMiz we might also be guilty of doing the exact same thing & focusing on the guys that we grew up with? Where is The Original Wrecking Crew Gene & Ole & countless other great teams?

I don't understand kids who are wrestling fans in this day and age. When I was much younger and liked wrestling, I was dieing to know all about what happened in the WWF back in the day. I wanted to know EVERYTHING. I went searching at all my video rental stores to find old VHS's, I looked at the library for old magazines, bought old PPVs off ebay. But kids now just like, don't even care to learn about anything. And they have the internet right in front of them, where they can find matches and info on just about any wrestler they want...but forget it, all they need to know about is Cena and Mysterio and they're all set. It's crazy.

^^Agreed..When I was younger I did everything I could to find out the history of wrestling..I would have done anything to have Youtube or even the internet at all. That stuff makes it so easy to find anything..Kids today could relive the history of the business with a click of the mouse..But they have Cena and that's all that matters..It's sad really.

I remember when I first started watching wrestling (1990), I wanted to go back and find out about previous champions & who the big stars were. I guess the kids these days don't care about wrestling history. Yeah same, I knew so much about the history of wrestling when I was like 7, these kids are just too stupid I guess.

See this further proves that WWE needs to put some of these teams in the H.O.F., cause that seems to be the only way the young fans take notice.
The Legion of Doom should have had their own freaking wing by now.

I preferred Bulldog and Owen over Bulldog and Dynamite. I loved their match at WM2, though. In addition, the Funks vs Santana and JYD inspired me when it came to tag team wrestling. I hated that match type before that match when I was about six.

I agree with both of you. And Joker, I was the exact same way as a kid. I could only watch the WWF regularly, so I used to keep tabs on all the other promotions with the Apter mags. Fattic, I was the same way, seeking out information on all the wrestling I missed before I became a fan (mid-1980s). I used to get grocery bags full of old 1970s wrestling magazines from a family friend that didn't want them anymore. When I was done watching the current WWF shows and looking at the latest WWF Magazine, I'd study the old magazines and learn the back stories on guys like Harley Race, Bruno Sammartino, Andre the Giant, etc. Although I must say that I was in the minority among my friends that followed wrestling. We all loved the WWF, but I was the only one that cared to watch old tapes or read the old magazines. My friends were all content with the latest news/superstars. So maybe things haven't changed as much as we think.
