It has never happened as far as I know...But there is a poll right now on WWE.com about who is the best tag team. ShowMiz is beating Hart Foundation and the British Bulldogs...Showmiz is beating everyone. What a dark time for being a longtime wrestling fan for me. Kids have no respect for the legends and what's more they DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHO THE LEGENDS ARE! They could care less.
I am ashamed to be a fan today.

That is exactly why I do not even watch wrestling too much any more. I would rather pop in a video of the older stuff.

I get that's it's a "new generation" and blah blah, but there's a limit. And that's ing ridiculous.

That poll is pretty pathetic. How can Demolition be in last place and Road Warriors in 2nd to last. Kids must be dominating this poll with ShowMiz and E&C being the top two. If the results were reversed it would be correct since Demolition is the greatest team of all time.

I remember when I first started watching wrestling (1990), I wanted to go back and find out about previous champions & who the big stars were. I guess the kids these days don't care about wrestling history.

I've come to terms that that is how it is these days...'Sports entertainment' most definitely rules the roost, whereas professional wrestling is again a dirty word...

yeah agreed, i got into wrestling end of 02, was bout 10, and since then in a year i was into the flaming attitude era!! always got the older tapes and checked them out, and i still love it! i cant really get into the 80's as such but i respect the out of them none-the-less, yet even i know show-miz should be at the bottom etc.

thank God for DVDs.
Tag team wrestling is stone effin dead with Vince has been for 10 years or more.even before that it only interests him in phases-New Age outlaws, hardys vs E&c vs Dudleys then again briefly in 02 etc etc.
makes me sick.Id love to see The Road Warriors do a super stiff doomsday device on Miz the wanker.

it's just an opinion poll! i'm a classic fan who doesn't really watch the current product now, so have no intention of going on to wwe.com to vote.
as sting said, i would rather watch some old video's of a time when it was entertaining for me, rather than the current offering of wwe wrestling.

Seriously, when DX, a team I legitimately wanted to win the titles for a long time (ever since the days of 1997) lost the Tag Team titles to the most makeshift tag team, Showbiz, I turned off the TV and put in my SummerSlam '90 video to watch Demolition vs. Hart Foundation.
Honestly, I never watch current stuff and I barely even keep up to date via reading results reports. With so many videos I already own and a lot of DVDs being released of old-school and REAL pro-wrestling footage, I have almost no reason to watch WWE or even TNA for that matter.
When WWE and TNA went head-to-head back in January, I'll admit I got all excited like a teenager I was back in the original Monday Night Wars. But for some reason, when they started to go head-to-head regularly in March, I had no desire to watch.

I mean it's the same with everything though.
I have followed rap music for 15+ years... and it boggles my mind when the younger people tell me that Lil Wayne is the best rapper of all-time.
Every age group has their heros.
Im really surprised that many people like ShowMiz though, to be honest with you. I mean I like them, they just dont seem to be fan favorites. I guess all it takes is for Miz to say "We are the greatest tag-team of all-time!" Kinda like how Lil Wayne proclaimed himself the greatest rapper of all-time. People in general are very trendy and have trouble thinking for themselves.
