Hey NWA Mid Atlantic fans, i need a favor! I found a video of Hawk and that gear with that same face paint. I can't seem to find a video or even picture of Animal with that paint. Can someone help me out? Anyone know where he has worn it off the top of their heads. Please help me out. I know I've seen it either on their official website or on their DVD set. I know for sure Hawk is on the DVD in that facepaint and I'm pretty sure Animal was as well. Either that or it's been on WWE 24/7, but I know I've seen it.

That head will love marvelous on a Jakks body. Finally we have a Ricky Steamboat So, you rather have a freakish Jakks body??? C R A Z Y The legends look awesome! It's the Road Warriors, not L.O.D. Slaughter is also in non-WWF gear; love it! Mattel simply rules in this short time that they have the license!!! Freekish? you have every right to your view same as me but while im glad those who share your view will be happy with these things, much like my view, yours is not strait accross the board nor does it reflect everyone... same as me... mattel is far from owning jakks if that was the case everyone would switch to mattel and that clearly has not and will not happen... in fairness id say it looks about 50/50 and thats being very kind to mattel. again im happy you and others like these but for my side of the fence i will buy steamboat for the head and the karate suit and dump the body strait in a trash can... no middle heavy chicken arms spindely legged weirdos in my collection...lol

So far so good. Dusty looks great in my view, he's always had an odd look about him, jakks CS one wasnt adventurous enough. Road Warriors and Slaughter arent much interest to me but mattels research is impressive. Dibiase looks great, suits are always bulky but this one aint too bad. Austin looks really good! Steamboat is simply perfection!
Not too much other new or noteworthy stuff but that IC belt looks GREAT.

Wow, I gotta say that I do not like them at all.
Mattel is definately kicking ass as far as getting all of the details perfect but I just don't think they look good.
They look like they were based off a WWE Animated show or something.
Edit: I just saw the pic of Steamboat. Wow, that's pretty bad ass! That's the first Mattel figure that I've seen that I've been impressed by. That head and jacket will look great on the custom Jakks Steamboat body that I have. The accessory is pretty cool too!

I pretty much hate the RA collectors here. I like my toy to be able to be PLAYABLE. They are not statues. Quit treating them as such. I love articulation! Thank you Mattel! Will be buying most of these. Isn't that pretty much the difference between a collector and just a kid who plays with toys? A collector may not even take them out of the package and if they do, it's to display them. It's hard to display figures sometimes when they have 3,315 points of articulation. I think sometimes toy companies go overboard with the articulation. I had no problem playing with LJN or Hasbro wrestling figures when I was a kid. The LJN figs had 0 articulation and Hasbro had maybe 3-4 points of articulation if you were lucky. You don't have to be able to pull off any kind of wrestling move in order to have fun playing with a wrestling figure.

If you liked Jakks playability then stick with them or go with basic, i however have fallen in love with Elite and am ecstatic that Classics will be in this form.

Hasbro must make Legends Ultimate Warrior! They should and all, but I think Mattel and WWE wouldn't like that too much......

The Legends figures are great but I think Mattel can do a better job with Hawk and Animal's head sculpt/scan. Also, their legs are too skinny (along with Slaughter and Austin). I am hoping for a tighter Road Warriors final product. Dusty is incredible, I love the scars on his forehead. I also think the MDM EG figure gear could be better. The suit is too bulky and resembles a cheap jump suit not a million dollar tailored suit.

That Dusty Rhodes figure looks terrifying. Where are his knee pads and his one elbow pad? The scan is awful, the shirt looks off, and the parts don't gel well.

I'm probably gonna end up getting LOD, but I bet the pads will be unremovable.
