Am I the only one who is frightened by Dusty's headscan? When you merge an elf with santa and the devil you get dustys scan.

Is this all that they are showing? If it is i am REALLY disappointed in it. The one hting i always liked was Jakks showed a bunch of new stuff.

Steamboat looks great. A definite buy, two if the head will look right on an RA body to match my existing classics collection.
I was excited when I first saw the NWA-style Road Warriors, but the close up pictures ruined it for me. In general, I like the more proportional Mattel body style, but these are not realistic to the Warriors at all. Look at those skinny arms and legs. Hawk was a little longer, but Animal was a tank. Also, those head scans are terrible. I'll probably get them because its an NWA version of the Road Warriors, but they're not nearly as good as they look at first glance.
All the good will Mattel generated from me by making an NWA Road Warriors, they lost by making that awful polka dot Dusty. The body parts look fine, but the scan is scary.

While I like them I don't think the pics are doing the Road Warriors justice. I think when we see them in person they'll look better. I think the gauntlets and pads are making their limbs look smaller than they are. Sure it looks like their waist and thighs should be thicker, but I think once the pads are off they'll look to be in much better scale.

I Have loved mattel so far but I do not like those legends figs except for steamboat. The details on lod look great but the scans and bodies look strange. Slaughter, debiase, and dusty are all not impressive either. I have faith that they will all look pretty good when they r released though

Some of these figs look really good while others do not. However, due to scale compared to Jakks RA, I am skipping on all of these. Why would I want to start over after investing a lot of money in my collection already.

According to what Tom said, in this thread... we're expected to be seeing more come Sunday, when Mattel's Toy Fair coverage continues. I'd imagine THAT's when we'll see more modern prototypes. - Triple S

That head will love marvelous on a Jakks body. Finally we have a Ricky Steamboat So, you rather have a freakish Jakks body??? C R A Z Y The legends look awesome! It's the Road Warriors, not L.O.D. Slaughter is also in non-WWF gear; love it! Mattel simply rules in this short time that they have the license!!!

I really like that Slaughter. It's neat they put him in different attire than Jakks ever did, and he has his whistle If only he had the crop he'd be complete. The fact that Road Warrios have the arm pads is awesome. I think people are finding them weird looking partly because they are painted protos, the skin on the final fiures will look different as they will be dye cast Everything else looks pretty great too, but those are what stick out most for me

Hey NWA Mid Atlantic fans, i need a favor! I found a video of Hawk and that gear with that same face paint.
I can't seem to find a video or even picture of Animal with that paint. Can someone help me out? Anyone know where he has worn it off the top of their heads. Please help me out.
